  1. Well' date=' I got it back into town on saturday night after lostprophets in the SECC.

    Maybe I imagined it?

    I wasn't THAT drunk, was I?[/quote']

There must've been late trains on on saturday then.I wondered why the usual police weren't there escortin people away from the door.Must only be mid-week gigs that happens.DOH!

Walk into town was nice though :)

  2. Gig was awesome!

Hondo Maclean were quite good. That was the first time i'd seen them and they did well.

18 Visions were excellent! I was sceptical to buy the album before cos I ain't heard much stuff but it will definately be bought now.

Lostprophets were SO amazin! That's the third time I've seen them this year and that was the best I've seen them yet.The in-between-songs speakin was a bit monotonous as I'd heard it all before but the actual performance was brilliant!

  3. Over the top

Maybe I was a lil over the top in what I said but I had to be to get my point across. This band gets alot of shit from everyone and there's really no need.

I'm not just standing up for Broken Sunshine here, I'm standing up for every band in Aberdeen that takes undue criticism like the worst band in aberdeen thread that was goin about a couple of weeks ago.

People put a lot of time and effort into what they do and everyone has their own opinion which is valid as the next guys there has to be a line drawn somewhere.

  4. After reading the BS supprtin The Damned topic I thought i'd start this one because people don't seem to remember that Broken Sunshine are three teenage girls i.e. people with feelings. It's the same with any celebrity in the world...the press forget that they're human and can just make up stories thinkin it's ok cos they make loadsa money.

    WELL IT'S NOT!!!

These stories can be hurtful to the person(s) in question and everyone else has to remember that.

    Three cheers for Broken Sunshine.Hip hip...hooray.hip hip...hooray.hip hip...hooray

  5. You wont hijack a thread but you state you dont like pig destroyer' date=' thats off topic and totaly hipocritical, good one[/quote']

I meant that I seen a thread for a pig destroyer gig and because I dont like them I'll just skip that thread or if i do read what people are saying I won't just slag them off cos I'll respect other people's choice of music.

  6. Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker got hitched on Halloween eve in Santa Barbara. Barker and his bride, former Miss USA Shanna Moakler, exchanged vows at a red-and-black-themed ceremony inspired by their favourite film, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Two hundred and fifty guests attended the wedding, including Barker's band mates Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge.

This is the kinda news that should be in the news not Britney getting married or J-Lo onto her 10th husband or whatever!

  7. I think that goes to show how "scene driven" Aberdeen Actually is...what's popular at the moment ? (metal)...what is the main style of Aberdeen band (this year)...Metal.

Every city has a "scene".Leeds have a hardcore scene, Glasgow's I would say is indie at the moment."scene's" some and go and you just gotta wade through it all and find the truely unique bands who are actually good.
