    Everything Else Sucks presents...

    NOOB (Turbo Recordings/Form)

    DJAMBA (Everything Else Sucks/Hush Hush)

GILES WALKER (Everything Else Sucks/Hush Hush/Mixtape)

    EEZMA (EES/Crush)

    Saturday 5th December

    @ Origin, Windmill Brae

    Doors 10pm - 3am

    Tickets only 5

This young Parisian really is at the centre of the current French electro revolution.

Noob worked alongside close friend Brodinski earlier this year to release Peanuts Club. Arguably the hottest track of the summer with heavyweight DJs Erol Alkan, Tiga and A-Trak. The B-side track Cajou Club is another absolute bomb, maybe even bigger than Peanuts Club, and more evidence that France has produced yet another two major players in dance music.

Noobs really been hitting his stride lately with terrific remixes of Brodinskis, Oblivion, Tigas summer smash hit Shoes and also the massive Lyposuct by D.I.M. & Tai out on Boys Noize Records.

Noob is consistently releasing great records and its not hard to see why hes been described as One of Turbos rising stars of the year by Turbo Recordings label owner Thomas Von Party.

Were proud to welcome Noob up to Aberdeen prior to his forth coming 4 track EP being released on Popofs label Form, and also before gigs at Flex Bar Amsterdam and Fabric London.

Jackmaster is the 23 years young Jack Revill, hailing from the musical hot spot of Glasgow. Recently heralded as probably the best DJ in the UK by FACT magazine, hes one of the brains behind the oh-so necessary Dress 2 Sweat and Wireblock labels, releasing music by the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Rustie, Rod Lee and more.

Allthough based in Glasgow, the club will be stretching its legs in 2010 with dates in London (Plastic People & Fabric), Barcelona, Berlin, Bristol and even Japan.

As if this wasnt enough, Jackmaster also over sees the wholesale department of Glasgows Rub-a-Dub Records, supplying old fashioned 12 vinyl from Bradford to Bangkok.

Notching up mixes for Vice, Dazed & Confused, The Wire and Sindens Kiss FM radio show, Jackmasters fast, furious mixing style and ever changing musical palette has seen him earn bookings at the UKs finest clubs and events, including Fabric, Optimo, Bloc Weekender and Bangface, as well as dates in Barcelona, Berlin and Paris, where Modeselektor personally requested him to play alongside themall pretty impressive for a 23-year old!

  8. I don't think I have ever bought music digitally, and probably never will. Owning the physical record is like having the trophy. Why the hell would you want to pay for a collection of digital files?

Depends what volume of music you're buying. I'd rather spend 40-50 on MP3's than the vinyl equivalent of 200-250. Digital only releases, no waiting time....etc

  9. Check out DJ Zinc's Crack House mix right here. Not your bog standard house mix by any means.

DJ ZINC (Bingo Recordings/ Tru Playaz)

Boom Monk Ben (Ninja Tunes/ Solid Steel)

    Residents Djamba & Giles Walker

    August 1st 2009

    5 before 12pm, 7 after

    @ Korova Club, Windmill Brae

    DJ Zinc

DJ Zinc has produced some of drum & bass' biggest anthems, most notably 'Super Sharp Shooter' and the remix of the Fugees 'Ready Or Not' - both of which still devastate dancefloors to this day. He launched and ran the True Playaz label alongside jungle veterans DJ Hype & Pascal and has continued to produce and release many drum & bass anthems all throughout the 90's. He displayed his musical versatility with the genre defying "138 Trek" and established himself outside of the dnb circle.

Fast forward to the present and we see Zinc has set his sights on house music. His productions "Killa Sound" and remix of La Roux's Bulletproof have shown why he's one of the biggest in the game and have taken the world by storm. EES is proud to welcome such an established DJ and producer to Aberdeen.

    Boom Monk Ben

Armed with Serato, two quick hands and the most diverse crate of dance floor fillers youve heard, the Boom Monk has developed a sound and style that is undoubtedly his own. Rocking his native Glasgow on the regular at nights HYP? and Mixed Bizness, Ben has caught the attention of clubs and festivals nationwide. A frenzied fanatic of all things bass, the Boom Monk leaves no stone unturned and no sound unheard in his quest for dancefloor devastation. From hip hop, dancehall, funk and break beats to house, electro, dubstep and drum and bass, as long as it makes him, us and you move on the floor then it will get put the through the blender in his inimitable style.

Warming up proceedings will be our EES residents Djamba & Giles Walker, fusing together house, electro and bmore and fitever else.
