The legend gone - RIP I just found about this horrific tragedy this afternoon. I can't say anymore than the 75 odd replies have alreayd said but he will be sadly missed. I'm a massive Pantera fan and i can't grasp that he won't be riffin it up anymore... i am truly sadenned by this. R.I.P Dimebag - you will be missed. Also, soundproofing would be good but doesn't it cost a couple of grand or aso to effectgively dampen out drums in a garage?!?! Plus, we can't really afford to practice at tom's hehe. Damn the cops!

We were just practicin in the garage. We checked out the law on the ineternet and as far as we can see they can't do much. It's basically a sense of common decency - but as far as i'm concerned, if we practice at 2 o clock on a tuesday when everyone's at work then there aint a problem.

Hey all, Just wondering if any folk in other bands have been warned by the police about noise pollution. We were practicing today and they came and complained about the drum kit noise level. Hey people - just to let you know I wouldn't mind getting some feedback on Subsidian if any of you come along and see us next week. I may have just opened the flood gates to offence but I don't care hah. Hope to see some of you there. Niall.

Yeah it sounds pretty smart. I dont know. I hear a lot of pessimism yeah. We'll see. I'd be happy to help organise something if it meant a lot of people coming to an outdoor gig of some description. That thing on Belmont Street sounds a better idea than the others. I'm sure there'd be a good few bands willing to play! Especially Subsidian!

It's never gone away? Oh come on. Scuzz etc are full of rubbish. Yes Metallica released St Anger, Maiden released Dance of Death - but who are the newest good metal band you've heard of!?! There aint many. Even if new bands are "metal" they have shit solos and are full of pointless screaming. Useless i say!

Well I'm getting the opinion that this isn't something that's going to happen anytime soon :0/ Looks like i'll have to keep dreaming bout playing Donnington hah. Speaking of which, did anyone see Demolition on Scuzz? The band that won "D-Void" are wank in my opinion. No solos, no double bass. Grrrr. This world needs a metal comeback!

I used to get Kerrang, then it started filling up with rubbish I don't like. Just to change the subject, anyone been watching Headbanger's Ball recently? They had Iced Earth's new video "The Reckoning" on it. Very cool. It aint the same without Ricky though. Back to the subject, music magazines generally suck hah.

I see - well the AUBL folk seem to be pretty organised. I'm sure they could sort something. I'm not talking massive festival. We wouldn't need any media or any shit like that. Just a load of local bands playing all day. Could be fun. Hell knows where we'd get equipment from etc. It was just a thought.

Hey all, What do you think the chance is of somehow organising a day festival sometime in the summer for local bands to play at? I think it would go down really well. I just don't have a clue how to organise it hah. Niall.
