Hey dudes and dudettes Subsidian will be hoping to launch their new 10-track album "Called Up For Service" (tbc) soon. It's just going through final mixing etc. before we're all happy with it. Anyway we'd be lookin to organise a gig with a couple of other heavy metal style bands to help us launch it at a yet-to-be-chosen venue in Aberdeen. Once the songs are mixed up I'll shove a few on the myspace so you can listen to us and see if you'd like to help us launch it! Any advice for us would be greatly appreciated Stay Heavy Subsidian. Enisferum - is Wintersun frontman Jari Menp a member? I notice the album Winter Madness has his name on front and only official members in CD inlay are Jari and the drummer Kai Hahto. A side project from Enisferum? Niall Subsidian

Dragonforce - Mon 19th September HOW AWESOME WAS LAST NIGHT! I wasn't lookign too forward to the support but I was pleasantly surprised mainly by the drummer - he was awesome. Dragonforce, what a show. Great laugh, excellent playlist and I got a plectrum and a drumstick Highlights for me were definitely Revelations, Valley of the Damned and My Spirit Will Go On. Met them all afterwards in Bassment/Moshulu so that was an added bonus. Hope they come back soon! Niall SubsidiaN

Hey you smeggers, Did any of you lot go to 13D in B'ham for Sonata Arctica? They played a fucking storming set. Epica were great - good god the lead singer is one sexy bitch hehe.

Metal is never played in Moshulu nevermind Dragonforce heh. Gig will be great - nice to see a band of quality coming to this town of balls hehe.

Wtf!?! I really need to voice my distaste. How dare futurama not be number one! It's quite clearly superior to the simpsons in animation, jokes, characters etc. Mt. Burns and Homer and possibly Moe/Snake are the only good thing about the simpsons! How can anyone find them funnier than zapp brannigan and co.! For instance "ahhh, commets - the icebergs of the sky. Perhaps jacknifing from one to the next we might get some kind of gravity boost or something! DIVERT ALL POWER FROM THE SHIELDS!" - Zapp. Tsk tsk.

Hey folks! Long time no see! Subsidian are finally getting back on the gigging scene after being missing since about May hehe. We've got a good few new songs sorted out and we're gonna try and gig our way through the Xmas break (while revising for uni exams!!) Apologies for us not being around since early this year - we've had a lot of other commitments to contend with.
