I know. I should have been clearer. I'm leaving the UK... :-) Leaving for the US so don't know if it'll be better but eventually want to move back to the Netherlands (NEDerland in Dutch). Most people here have maybe been to Amsterdam - it's not really my favourite city but imagine moving to Aberdeen from there? Plenty of really really good folk & good things about Aberdeen, don't get me wrong, but if you're not from around here, trust me, it's a hard place in a lot of ways.

Ha good some nice responses there! It's not me who's organising it but I think we can do music till one? Not sure, rockaustin might know better than me - do you know if they keep a strict curfew? :-) It is definitely a great venue and I think it will work nicely with the music too.

Portishead - Third dEUS - Vantage Point Tindersticks - The Hungry Saw Alll 3 are new releases, Really love the new portishead and the new tindersticks is amazing too. I think I haven't heard enough of the deus album but I think it needs to grow on me - will love it after a couple more spins.

Made me happier than I already was Ah so it was you at that party in Heerhugowaard where I drank a bit too much, woke up next to a complete stranger and jumped out of a second floor window not to wake you up? Not a lot of Sterling but I think I'll still be fine. Did anyone else watch that Unchained America thing on channel 4 or more4? I want to buy a big car and go on a road trip now. Chances are good - I probably will! Does anyone know any good bands from Pittsburgh? Haven't come across a lot yet. It's a long shot but I'm moving there in August so any ideas on what to expect would be brilliant. Have googled flickr'ed and myspaced my arse off, allready looks great. Anyone?
