Minibrute has midi, USB and CV - it is also a lot of fun if you are on the look out for modern analogue and comes in around £400. I'm sure the Dave Smith Instruments mopho and tetra have at least USB and midi. Mopho is definitely in that price bracket - £250 for the desktop version. When you consider the price that even a vintage MS-10 goes for I think £499 for the MS-20 mini not a bad shout.

Yeah it's a fun bit of kit!
I might be in Kingswells on Sunday... I could bring that Casio round for you if you are about?

All that looks interesting but well above my head. I liked the cut of Maschine's jib, the software looks like a good addition to the stuff i have on Logic Studio and the fact you can use it as a plug-in appeals to me. It just gives the impression of a very hands-on experience which i like as well. Hoping to have some more LWA stuff up soon as well.
I'm nearly done set-up-wise and i think the Maschine Mikro will be my last purchase for a wee while (i'm pretty sure my wife is getting sick of me GASing at the moment :/).
You will never be done.
Check this thing out, it looks really cool http://meeblip.com/what-is-meeblip/

I'm just about to purchase a Native Instruments Maschine Micro MkII for my electronica project, Lady Wants Audio.
Can't wait to get my grubby paws on it.
I can vouch for Maschine being totally ace. I'm building up my electronics to hopefully convert to live: octatrack, minibrute, virus TI, dark energy.
Quite fancy a http://www.otomachines.com/biscuit.html or a http://www.rodec.com/productdetails.php?code=74
and a http://www.vermona.com/index.php/en_p4m.html

I'm getting into hardware sequencers, samplers and modular synths at the moment. Proper never ending gear lust.
Anyone else looking into this kind of hardware?

I love Rub a Dub, I have bought a lot of equipment from them.
