FLicker have got a gig on wednesday at the Tunnels...i know i will be there! does anyone have an opinion on the tunnel is it a good place for bands to play? i havent been yet so would like to know what all the dudes think of it! is it true that its also a record shop and does anyone know how cheap or expensive the drinks are?

nice constructive critisim like i know this site aint the be all and end all but it is a stepping stone for new bands to get there name out there and i have met quite a few good honest people such as kirk' date='flash (moorings) adam (pysdoll), lava p (paul from kef) etc that have helped us out and have actually bothered there asses to help us out as much as possible so thanks to those who have and to let you know we are doin stuff outta aberdeen such as glasgow,inverness, york but whats the point in being a band from abedeen if you dont enjoy playin in your home town because of a couple of arseholes! Peterhead is just a place like anywhere else, to try to suggest a place makes a person what he/she is would be wrong. i know alot of cool people from the heed, and, as was said, there are alot of arseholes. but how does that make it any different from aberdeen? Its just because aberdeen is on a bigger scale you don't notice it as much. thats what i think anyway.

Logan, watch he doesn't try to get you to work late with him. It is very scary. had to do it one christmas when i was strapped for cash. just me, him, bob dylan on the speakers and some cleaners!!

Yeah, he used to be the manager in Peterhead. he is indead very strange. When you talk to him he just kinda stares at you. You don't really know what he is thinking half the time. His wife is the complete opposite though, likes to speak away. quite a nice person!

I used to work in Woolies in peterhead and in the interview there i had to go on the shop floor to ask a customer what they thought of the shop, how they could improve it, that sort of bollocks. not sure if it is the same with Big W though.

What's the deal with Soulwax. I saw 'Too Many DJ's' on MTV2 a good couple of times, thought it was ace. Then i hear that they ARE DJ's who do remixes of other peoples songs. I then saw these CD's by Radio Soulwax and were called 'Too many DJ's: part 1' all the way to something like part 7. That make sense? Doesn't to me!!!!

REM were the first band i appreciated. Nirvana was the first record i bought (Dad owned REM records)

To be totally honest, I've found bass to be harder, mostly due to the technique with your fingers. To play it with a pic is a bit easier, but no-one can say they find learning to play bass with your fingers easy! takes a hell of alot of practice.
