  1. is it the same as six or is it alot less progressive? simpler' date=' like lantern?[/quote']

Little Kix is very 'James Bond' like pop songs, big strings and high production. You could probably get it for about 10. There last record, Kleptomania, is more rockier than lantern, not as progressive as six. good album though, plus because it was released after they split, it has three CD's, the album, 1 cd for b-sides and one for old demo's/live recording/rare tracks, hence the 18 pricetag. :)

  2. Hey guys, my friends show, The Magic of Jesus, is being screened tonight at 9pm on Channel 4. This is followed by When Magic Tricks Go Wrong, also presented by Stuart and Barry at 10pm. Dirty Tricks then follows at 11.05, which they are one of the main acts. Pretty good stuff and well worth watching!!

  3. it was on whilst i was in the cinese waiting for my order

certainly put me off eating anyway

it was the violin bit when the 2 guys were slicing theyre arms

Was pretty bloody, still, nothing as bad as Magick. really enjoyed, even though i still can't get used to seeing them on TV. Its like i'm just watching a DVD.

well, I'm not sure if its anything like that to be honest. It's filmed infront of a live audience. There are several different acts on one after the other. Stuart and Barry usually have 3 seperate acts which consist of some brilliant magic and well written comedy, including blowing up Neil Fox! :D Tufty does 2 seperate tricks and the rest get 1. they has a special guest magician/act in the middle. Plus plenty of B-list Celebrities getting the piss taking out of them. It is really good, also, like its been mentioned, these guys are from Aberdeen and they are doing what they love and doing it well, in the eye of the public. That in itself is a major achievement and it would good to think the people in aberdeen are supportive of them.

  5. Good day everyone, just thought i'd mention that this friday at 10.30pm on C4, Stuart McLeod and Barry Jones' new television show is being aired. Both are from the Aberdeen area and it sounds as though it is going to be a real good show. would really recommend Giving it a watch! :)

  6. Thanks for everyone that has been in touch. lots of interest from bassist's but quite dry on the drummer side of things. we are in no desperate rush, wanna make sure we get things right this time round for the sound we are aiming for, so if there is anyone else interested give me a shout because the more options we have the better as far i can see! :)

    Thanks again,

    Ciaranxx

  7. Flicker were shades of Muse and Mansun with a bit of Kate Bush. Dunno if that has any bearing on what they want to sound like now. They were very good at what they did though.

thanks. I think the newer stuff is going to sound bigger. hopefully get alot more drive behind the music in the backline, thats what we are hoping for anyway. plus, also looking forward to getting a new dimension to the ideas that we already have, which will be very exciting! like i said, just get in touch if your interested.
