I've never been - is it muchos fun? Might go tomorrow seeing as I might be at a bit of a loose end.
-
I shall listen to mp3s tonight and then make my decision based upon them
-
Get Social Insecurity! It's ages since they've been up (or it feels like it anyways...)
-
I've got albums by all these bands as well and they're all good so might well try and rouse some interest in this bill from freens...

It's not as common in Aberdeen as some people might assume! The Belmont chipper for example is a soulless place devoid of humour. As are the toilets in Henry J.Beans.

Wow that's generous. Might be worth it though to bag yourself a decent camping spot - in 2002 we walked for about 40 days and 39 nights to get to the first available spot where we could all set up our tents - you'd get drunk in the campsite and have almost sobered up by the time you reached the site X-(

Well the front is a heart with x's on it but it's a dark heart (it looks troubled and appears to be made of some rubbiss material). This is classed as a medium to high level of emo.
The reverse however is a dark pit of emo - tracklisting and credits at the top and a band photo of them underneath. Travis is on the right and looks like everyones favourite crazy punk guy although his transformation into a less beefy version of Till from Rammstein is gathering pace. Mark is seen to not be wearing an Atticus t-shirt for once and just kinda looks geeky. Tom however raises the emo bar to a dizzying high. Side lip piercing? Check. Plain green t-shirt (don't label me it screams! I have no need for it!)? Check. Foppish hair? Indeed. The icing on this most emo of dinner biscuits is the outstretched hand of Tom. It seems to beg 'touch me. feel my pain.' It is without a shadow of a doubt. Emo.
The back cover is rated as high risk emo that may cause tears to spurt forth onto your picture disc thus rendering it valueless. Disc is of a less pliable nature than your standard 7" single but will wilt and drip onto the floor like so many young boys in sweaters tears if left next to a radiator, fire or other heat generating entity. Or in the event Weezer splitting up.

Is it just me, or is that a really weak song, even by their low standards?
I like it quite a bit and got it on 7" picture disc (which I can never resist) :O

Aceyalone - All Balls Don't Bounce
Through Silence - Perfect White
Lostprophets - Last Train Home
Aphex Twin - Nannou
Arthur Baker - Return To New York (CBGB Mix) feat.Princess Superstar
Northern State - At The Party
Love them one and all

Broken Oath sounded amazing live and I've always had a soft spot for small people who sound like their vocals could shake a man's bowels loose at a hundred paces...
I should've bought the Destiny 12" or whatever The Process were selling but saved my cash for once *sigh*

Weird I never expected that :O
There's two of them available for download on their website for free though so I presume it's both of those ones? Have to try and catch them at Drakes...
Is that Dangerfields date with the Breschnev that aren't the Breschnev that played and threw fake money about and dressed up as the devil/George Bush? I'm off to some desolate Highland place on a holiday then so I'll miss them

I guess the country scene still isn't ready for the songs they played at their weddings to be done in a horror punk stylee

Does he just send them out willy nilly for free?

I think it's rude for people NOT to go along really with 12 bands in one night there must be SOMETHING you'd like to see surely?
Should be an impressive one
-
Andrew WKs younger, better-dressed brother anyone?
Recipe should include charisma and a smattering of melody at the very least. Gathering what I can from the charts it seems that sexual innuendo in the lyrics and videos featuring scantily-clad women are also practically compulsory.

Is that Anonymous Tip link meant to be to that scary website for reporting crime? A team of punk playing FBI detectives sounds like a fantastico idea to me!
-
Dave Vomitus explained most of the reasons to me last night but they're a little fuzzy - tour support falling through for The Nothing, one of the bands split up and another are arguing and I don't think Kaddish were ever fully confirmed - just the usual bad luck that seems to affect Drakes gigs really :S
-
Just downloaded the mp3s from Tearjerk's website and they're pretty damn rocking!
-
They've played Drakes before and I think Lava? Not 100% sure on that though.

Have you got any links to mp3s?
Search for 'Sweet Painful Reality' on Amazon.com and just under the tracklisting there's a link to the song 'Endure' by them for download.
Listen to Melt Banana and The Boredoms as well!

it certainly is boss! Wire and Liars galore!

By the time you read this letter/My debts will all be paid...
