Anyone else head down to this at Kef last night? Howard was in great form although he was a bit wobbly on his feet at the end. Questions bit at the end was a bit shit as well - the man's travelled so much and he's an intelligent guy, he's got his own record label (apparently) and we get rubbiss questions like 'Here Howard, people always talk aboot celebrities getting free stuff. Do people come up to you in the street and gi ye ganja?' Rubbiss! Thoroughly enjoyed it despite that

Strange choice of support non?
How did that Craig B acoustic thang at Drakes go? Or is it still to come?

if you're not so lucky to have transport
15 on taxis (both ways)
30 on blank CD's to sell at gig (and a whole day wasted copying them, and no ones buying any)
20 on drinks at the gig (at some venues, this can consist of as little as a pint each member)
The chance to play a stinky venue for free...priceless.
Seriously though this post puts it better than I think anyone could - how long are you going to last as a band with that kind of financial loss?

Has 'Big Poppa Pump' Scott Steiner joined Korn? On the right?
-
Yeah it's really good - nice progression from 'Bitterness The Star' and I'm sure I saw it in One Up somewhere but as Radiohead 'said' I might be wrong.

Will you play me Ugly Kid Joe?

And they're on this month's cover CD with Rock Sound I believe.

Huzzah! The mighty Clan and The Cure! There's gonna be too many things on at once and I'll miss stuff but I just came to our beloved forum from looking wistfully at a flyer for the Wu-Tang show in London. Aaah it's gonna be good

What if you haven't heard them?

Skinny Puppy with Wayne Static guesting? Score!
Been waiting quite a while to hear any Skinny Puppy news - most pleasing.

It's a bit far away (date-wise) but I could theoretically make either of those dates I think. Hmmmm it's one to ponder on anyways.

Aye it was one of the perks of living at my mum's house but now in the cold and dark of living in town I have to make do with downloading music videos to watch over and over so it ain't so bad I guess

Sadly no - cutting my brothers hair at my mum's house. Another one for the 'missed' diary.

Elton John fairly likes his homophobic musicians what?

double rar! Would like to go but couldn't get the night off work at such short notice so I'm making do with Incubus instead
-
What is this mixtape idea? Sounds like an excellent plan!
-
Hey Scuzz shows some good videos - thisGIRL had 'Bling Bling' on a while back and I've seen Mad Capsule Markets and others on there
-
Oooh please let them add Basement Jaxx
-
Yeah but I think I'll miss both these gigs thanks to work
Plus since Aura Sun pulled out I might just try and catch Aconite Thrill at Moshulu with Johnny Truant although I'm curious to see if they're selling the AT hoodies at the Drakes gig...

Would have to be Arcarsenal or Catacombs methinks. Excellent songs - Arcarsenal even kinda lit up Blair Witch 2 for a short while and that's no easy task...
