the Lemon Tree has great jazz stuff. I play in a big band which i love doing, but its the music centre one so i'm not sure it couts as part of a "jazz scene" but we are actually pretty fucking good.

no i have sibelius 2, i want to record it live cso although the playings are better on sibelius than other programmes, it still doesnt have the right feel for my two pieces.

I dont have a tape recorder that takes a mic or has one in it.

the setup file doesnt want to be read on my computer im not havoing much luck any other suggestions?

i need to record a piece for my higher music, i need to get it done at home to hand the tape in on monday. Does anyone know a good programme for recording on? I was using cubase but thats seems to have stopped working.

I find it really hard to think of harmonies in 3rds, 5ths and 7ths unless i have a keyboard/piano infront of me and i can SEE where the notes are. Its alot easier to work out a harmony by singing it from the beggining, then there are no worries about specific notes and the harmonies stick in your head from the start. Normally it is quite easy to pick up 3rds and 5ths, and once you get used to it, itll become automatic. If it sounds a crap harmony line, then you'll hear. just like you would hear a wrong note in a chord you played.
