  1. I don't find him funny. He is a relic of a different time. I don't really think about political correctness that much, however i do have a moral streak that tell's me when something just isn't right. I wouldn't like a comedian overtly offending anyone in a rascist or sexist way in the exact same way i would take offence to a complete stranger doing it. The political correctness arguement is stale and runs in circles, people should rely on their moral judgement.

An example is Jim Davidson. Fair enough he is a comedian and he makes a living with jokes. He makes jokes about "spastics" and my brother is severly disabled. Should i laugh just because he is a comedian? Am i being a PC thug or is he just being an insensative prick?

  2. To be fair if someone has the right to say they like something there should also be the right to disagree. If we didn't disagree with each other there would be nothing to talk about and site's like this wouldnt exist...fuck the whole internet wouldn't exist.

It's just one big movie poop shoot.com

  3. 'Cause that would have solved everything...

I didn't say it would solve anything i'm mearly pointing out a situation that highlighted the strong feelings some people have towards men hitting women. I'm sure everyone would of regretted it in hindsight.

Violence breeds violence, it doesnt make sense and it rarely achieves much but thats the way it happens.

  4. It really isn't that difficult to walk away from it, its his own fault for standing and taking it. I remember a few years ago i was waiting to get onto a plane with my dad and we seen a guy headbut his girlfriend. My old man basically called my uncle (both boxing champions) who was picking us up on the other side to wait for the guy to come out and fill him in. We got to the airport after some crazy staring on the plane and the guy got lifted on the other side. He got fucking lucky.

  5. Is a bunch of discontented kids putting a hamster into orbit that bad really?

I just can't see how it's any worse than toff's running about the country shooting the fuck out of everything just for sport. You don't see that in the papers and all over the news.

  6. Every person should be judged individually not as one group. My brother has severe special needs and i think he has the right to live as a part of society not on it's fringe. It's a very complex situation though.

I think this thread is a bit silly and is asking a question about a situation that alot of people will not fully understand.

  7. my space is alright it's true its full of weirdo's wanting friends. However it's a good way of listening to bands and seeing whats going on without trawling through countless websites. Plus its free advertising for bands just starting up, which is always good.

It's only a website if it offends your sensiblities don't go to it, it's that easy. It's always the people that bitch about things that create the "scene".

  8. George Best was fantastic, seeing the old footage of him running rings around people is an amazing thing. The fact that he chased down everything on the field is just inspiring.

In my opinion he was one of the most talented people ever to step onto the field.

    R.I.P George

  9. I teach snowboarding all winter so i'm pretty used to being battered by the weather, its not very nice no matter what your wearing.

It's true though you can go anywhere at anytime with the right knowledge and gear. It's people who don't have a clue that cause the problems. Like those two guys who got off at the top station of the cairngorms last year, they walked in a complete random direction and got completely lost. Or the people with no mountain experiance who decide for a day out on Ben Nevis.

It's simple common sense that is missing. Like checking the weather or checking in before leaving.
