  1. When even it's a new month I always feel the urge to say 'Happy New Month' People say it for the New Year so why not the month or day? Could take it too far and say happy new hour! So' date=' Have a good 31 days!:cheers:[/quote']

Just say "pinch, punch, first of the month", and then you have the excuse to punch people in the arm.

Yus, 1st of the month = money in the bank :)

  2. I agree' date=' Lion King is actually a very good movie, Disney has, however, failed to produce good movies consistently for quite some time, and has now decided to compete with Dreamworks and Pixar in the 3D toon market.

I fear they are going to fall very very badly.[/quote']

The Lion King has always been my favourite Disney movie, even though almost everybody else tries to convince me it's one of the worst, and something rubbish like Pocahontas is better.

When I told my parents I watched the 100 Greatest Cartoons, they both (separately) asked where Snow White featured.

I never thought much of Snow White. Did it feature? Someone else read Logan's list for me.

  3. escobar in the club downstairs. a techno night put on by knoxie. on the guestlist. harrassed on the way in' date=' accused of dealing e`s (wasnt). they searched me and found 10 quid and a half score (for medicinal purposes of course). took both the 10 quid and dope from me then threw me out. took me 10 mins to get my fukin jacket back (which was in their cloakroom at the door) and was generally shoved about by 3 of them. fukin wankas (scuse my language).

also, an ex-girlfriends brother and friend got the shit kicked outta them by same doorman for WALKING PAST THE FRONT DOOR. i mean, what a crime......[/quote']

You reject, of course you're going to get thrown out of a club for having drugs on you.

  4. yeh that did actualy happen on saturday night. they wouldn't let me in cause i was too casual so threw a snowball at them' date=' was a good throw too if i remember rightly. so went to club tropicana and requested wham.

club tropicana drinks are free, fun and sunshine theres enough for everyone!!![/quote']

I went to Club Tropicana once. But whilst queuing, I noticed everyone else was three times as old as me, so I left.

It looked like good banter, though.

    Maybe another time.

  5. I don't think you can rule out Manson's work as an influence on what happened' date=' but the root cause is that Mitchell had that mindset to begin with. There are many rogue influences on people in life, which may or may not cause them to do something bad. But we can't and don't go around banning them on the offchance.[/quote']

    I agree with this guy.

And it's not as if Manson was randomly mentioned in court. The cuts and markings on Jodi's body were identical to those on a female corpse in a painting by Marilyn Manson.

Thus proving he was an influence to the killing.

  6. Supposedly "some tall bloke" left me a rose at reception.

the question is' date=' which tall bloke, and why?eh?eh?eh? bastards. bet it was really a transexual or something..there's a catch. i'm suspicious. there is no reason for me to be given a rose. *shakes head*..it's a conspiracy *twitches*

    (it is pretty though)[/quote']

That was just me, wearing a hat.

Sorry. I thought it would cheer you up.

    :(

  7. did you know that sleeping next to someone for 8 hours causes you to absorb 2msv of radiation from the naturally radioactive potassium in their body?

I did not know that' date=' but thank you for giving my life meaning.

valentines day is bollocks, it's just for kids.

And I'm guessing you're single then?

  8. A little recognition is fine' date=' what i dislike is the public out pouring of false emotion in these events. The TV footage of Diana's funeral seem very fake to me, the public acted the way they thought they should, crying in the streets and buying flowers etc. I'm sure some people were acting genuinely, but the majority just seemed to be jumping on the bandwagon.

Same with the wedding, people are making a fuss about because they think they should be, not because they actually care.[/quote']

Well can you not just say that about people's reactions to the Tsunami? I mean, obviously people care and are concerned, but only to a certain degree, seeing as they are not directly involved. If you see what I mean.

People are, as a whole, selfish. They only genuinely, 100%-ly care about themselves, or things with a direct link to their lives.
