    I am a cunt, in a way. But not in the same way as that insipid, whiney, stupid-haired cunt. Did anyone see him on Later...a while back? He was playing a song called, if memory serves, Goodbye My Lover or sumpin similar. He clearly thought he was Jeff fuckin Buckley, givin it all the heartfelt loss like Last Goodbye. In actual fact it was the most bland, uninspired pish I've ever had the misfortune to hear. Absolute ding of the highest order.

    Does anyone else agree? I can barely put into words how terrible I think this fuckin useless bawjaws is ! He is a disgrace! I bought an NME a year or so back and he was interviewed as an upcoming young songsmith or sumpin, and he used to be in the Army and his hero(ine) is Thatcher. I decided not to hold this against him till I heard his music. Fuck me, it's terrible. Our survey says....cunt!

    Todays random trivia - Little Kicks drummer Bob Turner went to Mearns Academy and was the very first drummer for Aberdeen Metal Supergroup' date=' Black Atom. He has also appeared in an advert which I believe was for The Bank of Scotland.

    How many bands could get there at 5 during the week?

    Bands need to be used to' date=' or have the ability to adapt to, playing at quieter levels before the engineer has much control in there. Yet again an example of good sound coming from source.[/quote']

    I don't get your point. Does she crank everything to 11 because bands automatically sound shit at 8 or 9? I would sooner hear an average band playing averagely than a great band having their sound ruined by being abrasively loud. As was the case last week

    I think thats a stupid poll. King Liar & The Brutes have played 2 gigs this year. Five Finger Discount havent played in ages. Broken Sunshine have played maybe 2 gigs this year as well. Weres Filthpact? The Upstarts? Karloff? Quik? *cough*The Planeteers* cough

    More importantly, where the fuck are The Magdalene Cox?! I promised myself years ago that I would pay no mind to the Fudge Awards after watching Ben Quik make a clunge out of himself by taking them seriously. But come oN! The Cox were not just the best punk act of the year, but almost certainly the best band in the world! I am biased. And we have split up. But stiLL! Montae fuck! We should own that award

    The Tunnels isn't very conducive to quiet. .

    Then they should organise soiundchecks better. Start at five rather than six, try to find a better (quieter) level. I watched Eric Euan the other week, ace band who I was really lookin forward to. I had to leave after four songs because I thought my ears were going to explode an my head bleed. Because of the loud-ness, not the music itself.
