E-Bows work by changing the polarity in the magnit thus vibrating the steel string. They will work on any string instrument as long as the instrument has steel strings.

Ive never had probs with moving my laney valve head after about 20 secs of being switched off. and the valves in mine are well old and are requiring a change.

Just out of curiosity i so need to hed up there. Is my laney amp head and converted speaker stack (HH amp Without the amp bit) still at Drakes. Last used by Jaymz and Alun for an Elizium gig night. will be in to pick it up soon. :O
