  1. Dundee's El Luchador Promotions has just got a new website www.elluchador.tk in it you'll find up to date information for all the gigs we have going ahead, some info on old ones and also contact information for all of you seeking gigs in Dundee. it's mostly ska and punk gigs we deal in but we'll consider anything so get on the website and get in touch with us and we'll see if we can help you out with a gig or something. next few gigs that are coming up are looking good aswell so keep checking back for more info.
  2. i got the number of their manager. but thanks a lot anyway
  3. i need to ask them about a couple of gigs. can someone pm me a mobile number or something? thanks guys
  4. i was booking the dundee gig of this and i got told from ian armstrong that all captain everything scottish dates have been cancelled due to rich going to new york for two weeks. so if you're the promoter of this i'd give ian an email. hope yours isn't cancelled aswell, my gig getting cancelled made me sad
  5. hi guys, we recently finished our first studio cd called the steve danger ep. it has 7 tracks on it and we're quite happy with it. being a ska band from dundee i don't imagine many of you will have ever heard of us but i'd appreciate you telling us what you think of us. hopefully this would then lead to some gigs in aberdeen? anyway, you can buy the cd for 3 by emailing me at spacemanandrew@hotmail.com but i don't expect any of you to want to, so, especially for you guys up in aberdeen. CLICK HERE for the mp3 page, i've not told anyone in dundee about this so they'd all buy the cd. but you guys can help yourselves anyway feedback would be really appreciated andrew, drums xxx
  6. well that depends really, if you've ever heard rx bandits (and thought they were ska) you probably wouldn't say that it isn't music to listen to. quite a lot of ska bands have something to say with their music and particularly the rx bandits have something to say AND write some incredibly intricate songs that all musicians can agree are something to "listen" to. well that's what i think anyway
  7. it's gotta be something by spaceman lance! seriously though, howards alias - "one wish" or "you" are awesome voodoo glow skulls - yo no tengo tiempo busdrivers - can't turn away and there are loads more! i might post some later
  8. not according to hidden talent...and well, me. it's not. sorry kev!
  9. i see where the confusion is now. i have the westport bar booked on the 20th of June for Howards Alias, it's confirmed with ian armstrong aswell. who's doing the aberdeen date? this could be a problem. 19th of June is free though i think, if that makes things any easier?
  10. does that mean you're coming down for it? you should it'll be a great gig! that is if the 44s ever let me know if they're playing........
  11. hey ross, i'm getting asked about this gig from the manager of the supatones, will you be able to find out for me?
  12. i need to get in contact with the 44's about supporting the supatones. no one replies to their forum, i think kenny must have a new mobile number and i pm'd ross but he never replied. does anyone have another way of contacting them they could give me? this will be a pretty big gig so i want to make sure they know about it. thanks
