Awesome night altogether. Biffy were excellent and the mass singalongs were awesome. I'd say the atmosphere was better than their gig at the forum last time they were here.
My two complaints:
Reuben didn't get nearly enough time to play, they had to cut so many good songs.
Boxer Rebellion were terrible and ripped of Cooper Temple Clause.
The night would have been altogether better if Reuben had been the only support band and had got to play a decently long set.
On the up side, I met jamie from Reuben and he managed to find me a 'Scared of the Police' single even though they sold all of them ages ago. It was one his girlfriend found in their loft or something, so he got me it from the van and signed it. Which was rather cool of him.

It's a pretty quality song
The drums on it are killer (as are the rest of the instruments)

That's such a silly comment it must be a piss take.
It wasn't meant to be a big controversial comment.
The only reaon I made the Atom comment was because they put on such a great show last year and they don't play gigs here nearly as much as all the bands on this years bill and to be honest (in my opinion) Dedalus excluded (they put on a great show last year), this years line-up isnt as good as last years but thats just my opinion.
All the bands on this years bill play here a lot so it isnt exactly a novelty to see them live, a few of the regular gigging bands would be ok, but the entire bill is made up of them (i dont know about Lost though, havent heard them). It's just good to go see some quality bands that you dont get to see much cos its a kinda celebration thing.
But then again, thats just my opinion and im not forcing it on others, I didnt say 'everyone shouldnt go to this' did I?

Wow, this years line-ip is nowhere near as good as last years, Halloween should involve Black Atom in some way, im doubting if i will go now.

French HH is very good - the language seems to fit in very well. I love Arabic HH as well.
Polish Hip Hop is the way forward

I saw it, Noel was quite entertaining and the performance at the end was awesome

A Living End album for the sum of three bucks - i fucking hate you man' date=' i was 20 or something in virgin (the only place that stocked it) sor the self titled album.... SHIT SHIT SHIT[/quote']
I thought it was rather odd when i found it there as I remember someone telling me that Living End CD's were really expensive.
Im completely obsessed with the s/t at the moment, especially 'West End Riot'
Can you recommend any more of their CD's, which ones are good?
-
I didn't have much restraint today, so along with 2 friends I spent an hour or more in there.
I ended up with:
The Rolling Stones-Forty Licks (3 for the double disc set)
The Living End s/t
Andrew Wk-The Wolf
Dinosaur Jr-Green Mind
The Bellrays-Grand Fury (bloody amazing, like punk with a female soul singer)
Michael Jackson-Number Ones
Acid Jazz-Original Flava (compilation of random Acid Jazz, it's rather good)
All in all i'd say I did well, all that cost me just 21
BARGAIN!

The video for Staring at the Sun is awesome, with the weird green lines making up everything, good song as well.

hmmmmm that was a bit much2 pay.
I bought it in Bruce Millers before I knew of the wonders of the internet's low priced guitar shops so was completely ripped off.

Reuben (buy their album 'Racecar is Racecar Backwards')
Those who saw their recent performance in One-Up will agree.

Hello all,
Ive been saving up for a 52 Fender Telecaster for quite some time now and im nearing the target but I don't have a job at the moment so I can't get the last of the money I need so Im thinking of selling my beloved Epiphone Explorer (its black with a white pickguard). I've owned it for just over a year and it's in excellent condition (1 small scratch that isn't obvious at all).
Excellent for medium level players of all style (but obviosly the body appeals more to rock guitarists)
Im looking for around 240 for it (i payed 420 in a shop) and just to add to the deal I will throw in the gig bag. This is a good deal because you have to buy a special shaped bag to fit it anyway and they can be expensive.
Anyone interested?
Edit: Here a picture of the guitar on the guitar, sorrry i don't have a picture of the actual guitar because my digi camera is broken

More Wildhearts stuff *rubs hands together in anticipation*
They need to play Aberdeen again, the last time at the Lemon Tree was mindblowing
-
I'll definately be there.
The Mad Capsule Markets would be awesome live and by the look of it would bring in a fairly big crowd.

*Adopts Hannibal A-Team voice and supa-sized cigar* : "I love it when a plan comes together..."
Damn you Hannibal, always drugging Mr T's milk to get him onto planes.
"I ain't gettin on no plane fool"

They were kickass live on Friday and when I got home I listened to the album for ages.
The silent track was rather irritating though, my friend was determined to find a song in all the silence so i had to listen to him fastforwarding and stopping for ages trying to find it
