i muck around mostly. listening to folk and trying to recreate what they do etc. excersies are good, going up and down the fretboard, working with a metrinome. I try and work through my books too, like the rock school stuff, my victor wooten book and do some theory too. playing through the sailing the seas of cheese album is always good

can someone please explain to me how a complicated Equaliser works. Im talking about the one that you get on some amps, you get in windows media player and on some Cd players.

if you are still in school, might be worth a try seeing if they have any double basses you could try.

I did try, i asked the head of music and she told me there were no lessons in the school. my bass teacher asked his boss but the boss had just sold his double bass
