i never even knew such a manufacture existed.

there's a lot of blast beatage on the capdown discs they kick erse. puts stu to shame anyway.

noone can give me a good enough arguement to convince me to change my mind when i say that my mocking bird (not really mine but one i have a long term shot of) sounds crap.
-
listen to Lagwagon, especially their "Let's talk about feelings" album. theres so many parts where there are interlinked guitar tracks like harmonies n shit. it makes it pretty damn hard though to figure out how to play it aswell.
-
my dad's mate from work got new job in south africa and when he moved he left his B.C. Rich moking bird in work so now i have it. it sounds pish and it has the worst balance on any guitar ive ever used. it sucks ass.

you built it? could you not just buy it completely? it looks like pretty much just like the standard parts to me though.

if you're judging it by that i should sound like a fucking pennywise album on an acoustic so sssshhhh.

personally i think it looks fucking dumb when the drummers do the main vocals. backing vocals fair enough, but to do the lead? well that's just silly.

i bought a brand spanking new fender stratocaster but like the fat strat with a humbucker in the bridge position. after much playing and jumping around my room, i found myself moderately unsatisfied with its distorsion handling capabilities as it sounds like Mr. Delongues guitar on enema of the state. but anyway, i have three options in mind: seymor duncan distorsion, seymor duncan invader, or d'marzio super distorsion ones.
what one do you think i should opt for?

DO NOT GET A COPY.
you'd rather have the real thing.

were they actually blue?

that is a common thing with les-paul guitars. even the manufacturers (gibson) know it. it's because the neck and the head stock are two separate peices glued together.

the other day i bought a fender fat strat with shiny metallic blue paint and it kicks ass. but it has shit strings. on the back of the guitar on the tremolo cover is a sticker stating that it comes equiped with fender super bullet end strings. the idea is that the bullet shaped balls on the ends of the strings fit the tremolo bridge thing exactly and apparently it maintains tuning stabilty or some shit like that.
but personally i think that they sound absolutely shite.
anyone think the same/otherwise?

i use a marshall valvestate2000 AVT-100. i use the OD1 channel (the lighter distorsion) with my les-paul and the OD2 (the heavier distorsion) with my fat strat. this is just cos it sounds better on the different guitars.
i have the EQ set like this:
bass 8
mid 4
treble 7
presence 7
and the volume as loud as i can get away with in my bedroom without knocking stuff off shelves in other rooms and my mum complaining.
also i leave both channels unscooped basically because i can't get it to sound good. it just doesn't work for my guitars.
