  1. he can't be as good as Gregor though... but still sounds good!

3 guitars would be tricky at local gigs, there's just not enough definition in the sound to get 3 hi gain guitars working together!! worth a try tho haha

  2. ideally I'd love to be able to give some input on how the band should sound... I'm quite competent with EQ, Compression, Reverb and everything but to transfer this knowledge to setting up a live situation is something that would be really handy! Obviously with the 2 guitars dominating our sound it can be tricky to get everything right, usually a line check is fine but often we just need a soundcheck!

  3. lol no armour or robes *yet*

However I do wear Lost Horizon face paint on occasion!!

    PROOF!!

If you can only make one gig the 29th should be better as Open Air are playing and they are a great Metal band, also Tears of Grace might be up your street too!!

  4. 1) Performance.... the main thing I love is seeing people going NUTS to our songs and people singing the lyrics and stuff... that's just great. Prbably because I know what it feels to be in the crowd going nuts and singing lyrics to a band I love so knowing that people feel that when I play is what I love about my music...

Although as a home recordist I do enjoy the recording side of things too... I like obtaining a broad knowledge of thigns... I like to be at the controls and produce my music too - I think if you write songs but have to trust another producer to record them you are at a bit of a disadvantage to an extent... so I enjoy having the knowledge to shape my music on recordings too!

2 - This one is both... but it depends what you mean by a "good" live performance.. .Dragonforce are usually quite bad live technically, etc BUT that pretty much means nothing as the songs are so great that they carry themselves... so in this case the good recording is better... some bands have great recordings and live performances, the best I've ever seen was Stratovarius. EVERYTHING about their live show was nothing short of jaw droppingly amazing. The drum sound for a start was the best I've ever heard at ANY gig, and this goes for their recordings - Imho Visions and then Elements pt 1 have the best power metal drums...Their performance was solid, but still had feeling and was a great joy to watch.

Well damn thats a big answer but I hope you gain something from my opinion

  5. hey i might be able to play bass for you' date=' or at least come and record some bass for you. I play in a few bands already so commitment might be an issue, but aye i love power metal especially of the sword and sorcery side. tell me what you think.[/quote']

  6. That's the point Dave... this thread was from last year and someone dragged it back - to be honest you might aswell close it... it is serving no purpose other than a platform for Scorge to vent about his pathetic life...

See you outside the Tunnels on Friday' date=' I'm setting you up on a blind date with my cricket bat.... ;)[/quote']

HOLY SHIT!! You owe me a new monitor and a cup of tea... OH MY GOD that is the funnyest thing you have ever said.

Scorge if I ever see you again and your first words aren't "Dude I'm sorry for being a cunt, here let me buy you a pint" I might just swing for you.

Shut the fuck up and go waste your life somewhere else. Far away from us.

  7. Ha no ball... well I wish I could just say that everytime someone had told the truth about one of my foibles...

Your lack of talent and personality is unescapable.
