  1. being an old fashioned kind of bloke, i'd recommend using a four track to put down basic ideas, i've got a fostex XR5 which i use with an alessis reverb unit and the quality is pretty good for a basic set up but naturally there's all kind of programs on the net now. i like the 'earthy' feel you get from a four track.

e bay would be your best bet, but i would recommend a fostex.

Can anyone suggest a replacement person I can be fixated with? Dated highlights and pretty pout are essential.

I'm glad to also add that I'm not a 40 year old man...

how's about yourself candi being a synth meister? i think rhodes should be the next series of celebrity fit club...

  3. thing is in the 80's at their peak everyone apart from their adoring fans hated them, for me you may as well have given that award to go west or spandau ballet though duran always had better songs, i'm a closet fan of their music but don't think they should have won that award, still after the spice girls won it a couple of years back, all credibility in a lifetime achievement award went down the toilet pan anyway, i mean bands like the stones and the who used to win it!!!

i actually prefer the post original line up material, 'notorious' 'big thing' and 'liberty' are cracking records imo...

  4. but the question on everyone's lips is...

'what you gonna do with those faded blues you wear

what you gonna do with those ol rag blues

what you gonna do with those ol blue jeans you wear

    ol rag blues

    ol rag blues'

    just wondering like....

  5. embarrasing old 40 somethings injected with botex and god knows what else playing irrelivant songs from over 20 years ago (apart from ordinary world which only 3 members of the original line up played on anyway)...

    or

cutting edge pop band still making waves and still interesting even if they do have fake suntans and middle age spreads (especially nick rhodes).

i'm kind of half and half meself....

  6. some more rumours....

during orwell's set a huge food fight will break out between zombie munch/sidca and whoever is nearest....

deadloss superstar will play an acoustic set of tiffany covers backwards in polish

the staccato set will insist that no-one smokes or drinks during their set as it will offset 'their vibe'

special guest for the night will be cat deeley who will strip to the sounds of the Nomad AM compilation

it is my last night of drunken debauchery before going into retirement for a couple of months so as i actually do some work for my degree

the gloria flaw will kill gilfeather after he sings the words to 'feels like i'm in love' in the wrong key...

  7. not as sad as the darkness winning three awards, i mean could they really not find a better band or album in the UK? the brits is just an embarrasing fuckwit musicians piss up, i mean there's not even any decent incidents any more the whole show has become one long bore.

    bring back the klf

in fact bring back mick fleetwood and sam fox....
