  1. well done Wigan, looking good for avoiding the drop now, first team to beat Man U and Arsenal in consecutive games since Southampton back in 2001 well according to Radio Five Live anyways. I like Martinez, name being bandied around for the Spuds job should the second hand car salesman go off and attempt to manage England.

  2. Queen's Park what a brilliant challenge! Amateur status means no dicking about with worrying about transfer or wage budgets, first game in the challenge cup against first division Ayr at Hampden, lost on pens after a 2-2 draw, only went and drew them in the league cup - away and all... dicked them 3-1 then spanked Peterhead 3-0 first league game of the season!

  3. Despite my reservations about attending Cambridge v Kettering it was the easiest three points we gained all season, how on earth we only scored two is beyond me. Even better their keeper was sent off and they had to use an outfield player in goal, we should have won 10-0 and there is our problem this season, an inability to stick the ball in the net.

Great result for Norwich this afternoon, Lambert has done a fantastic job there!

  4. Soda has it spot on regarding City. As for Spurs they have imploded as well, I really hope Newcastle get fourth spot, Pardew has done a fantastic job there considering how their supporters were so underwhelmed with his appointment.

  5. Too many egos in the City squad, its all very well spunking money up the wall on whoever you like but they have to gel as a team. They looked so good for the title first half of the season and were playing some awesome football but once a few results didn't go their way they weren't up for the challenge simple as that.

  6. really cannot be assed going to Cambridge v Kettering this afternoon but will go anyways, they're already relegated and our former chairman is their chairman now and he's a dick so be nice to get one over on them. Plus am getting in for a fiver this afternoon!

  7. Such a shame Man City have imploded so badly and the title race is almost all but over, sure United have had easier fixtures and some decisions go their way recently but City have looked out of sorts for ages now. Wouldn't surprise me if Mancini gets the boot in the summer.

  8. Bah cannot get the work this morning, think the Steam programme is playing up. Am still unbeaten as Bayern manager 15 odd games in and top of the league - fighting it out with Schalke with 7 games to go. Also in champions league quarter final but got one of the hardest draws - Real Madrid! Oh its working again as I type this - can squeeze in a couple of games before trudging off to watch some real football at Cambridge United... using the word football in the loosest sense of the word!

  9. I like long term games, started at Cambridge took them to Premier League title and Champions League final which I lost to Real madrid then added loads of European Leagues and ended up at P Ferriera before getting the Bayern job, longest I ever player was into the late 2040's!
