  1. I found it useful to get loan signings from bigger clubs when in the conference, got me out that tinpot league!

Fucks sake Blackpool just beat me again, four times on the bounce now, my new bogie team! Got ruddy Brazil in the World Cup but with South Korea and Costa Rica in the group think I can get meself out of it!

  2. Some seriously good players being released for free:

    Arsenal: Manuel Almunia

Aston Villa: Carlos Cuellar, Emile Heskey

    Blackburn: Miguel Salgado

Bolton: Juusi Jaaskelainen, Zat Knight, Paul Robinson, Gretar Steinsson

Chelsea: Jose Bosingwa, Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou

    Everton: James McFadden

Fulham: Danny Murphy, Andrew Johnson, Pavel Pogrebnyak

    Liverpool: Fabio Aurelio

    Manchester City: Owen Hargeaves

Manchester United: Tomasz Kuszczak, Michael Owen

Newcastle: Danny Guthrie, Peter Lovenkrands, Alan Smith

and some seriously shit ones as well... Emile Heskey ha ha ha go to the championship, directly to the championship!

  3. they play for the free food post match and a couple of pints of lager shandy. Fleetwood won the league last year because they paid their players in racehorses and caviare the league stealing bastards.

Looking forward to another season of Luton not going up!

  4. at least that solves the age old Lampard/Gerrard dilemma! Bloody hell what was Woy thinking of when he named the stand by players? Is he getting back handers from his former employers to pick their players? I mean honestly Lolerpool were a laughing stock for most of last season yet the England squad has a handful of their players present...

Oh well I'll be supporting Germany anyways, really couldn't give a shit about the merry go round that is England. Although it is a little refreshing for everyone round here to think that the team will do absolutely nothing in the tournament. Makes a nice change.

  5. Ha ha ha. The Luton Town story is similar too. As a little kid I wasn't allowed to collect stickers. But one of the bigger boys at school completed his book, so he did a "sticker scramble" with all his doublers, where he got all the boys from school together and he stood on a wall and threw them all in the air. I picked up one sticker. My first ever Panini sticker. It was a Luton Town shiny. I've had a love affair with Luton Town ever since. They're so awesome in that league that they play in, and all their players are the BEST!

Ah Luton the team everyone hates in the BSP, a team who spunk money on the promotion dream every season and fail at the final hurdle, a team so shit they failed to beat Cambridge last season! I like having them in a the BSP, it's a good pay day for us when we play them at home!

  6. gonna be interesting to see how much time Rodgers is given at Lolpool, wonder how the ever demanding scousers are taking to the appointment, they never gave Woy a chance. Don't expect him to get the kind of transfer budget the king got. Lolpool are looking more and more like a mid to upper table prem team who specialize in cups, bit like Man Utd used to be!

  7. thing is though who actually signed him? Crazy world when players are not signed by managers!

The Lolpool rollercoaster rumbles on, those Americans are funny, not a clue!

Anyone watch the panorama on Poland/Ukraine? Scary stuff especially when Legia Warsaw (think it was them correct me if I'm wrong) supporters started beating up their own supporters simply because they are Asian.

  8. finally got a serious world class potential come through me own ranks, 16 years old worth 3.3 million aleady, Man City just offered 4.5 for him, got him snapped up on a long term contract when he turns 17 in October. Dicked most of my 48 million transfer budget on 2 20 years olds. the future is looking good!

  9. finally finished the season, won the community shield, super cup, club world championship and league cup, fell short in the league on last day of the season, knocked out fa cup in semi by my new bogey team Blackpool who also did the double over me in the league and was utterly raped by Barcelona in champs league quarter final 2-1 at home then 5-1 away. Got a 48 million budget for the new season and am looking to buy some shit hot kids. Also just signed a new 5 year contract at 100k a week! doubled me wages!

  10. Soon is just incredible. It's when the little flute melody starts then boom. Gets me every time! I still need to pick up the new versions and the e.p collection. Is there actually any extra tracks on isn't anything and loveless though? Might skip em if theres not!

Couldn't have put it better regarding 'Soon' myself! Deffo their master piece for me!

No there is nothing new on the new re-issues. Both have been remastered and 'Loveless' is a double CD set with the second CD being a 2006 DAT remastered version of the album. The EP's collection is much better ties up all the odds and ends nicely with a few unreleased tracks which are of interest to fans.

  11. just bought the new compilation of My Bloody Valentine EP Stuff 88-91, a few unreleased tracks as well, shame they never did more stuff, I thought a follow up to 'Loveless' was going to come out after they reformed a few years ago but still no word on that and now Debbie Googe has joined Primal Scream to replace Mani...

  12. The Wicker Tree - enjoyed this immensely, never gonna be as good as The Wicker Man but as the companion piece it is intended to be holds up pretty good. Shame Sir Christopher Lee was only able to a cameo and is only on screen for a couple of minutes.

  13. Chelsea winning the champs league is a bit like when Greece won Euro 2004 but hey fair play to them, Abramovitch only wants another three now the greedy git. Saw a post on facebook from a Man Poo fan who would like to see Drogba vacant that bench warming/Carling Cup role vacated by Michael Owen. Can't see it happening though, he's off to China by all accounts.

  14. yeah the world cup did have its own thread!

Be interesting to see what the rest do to try and catch up with the Manchester clubs. Lolpool will fall flat on their faces, think the spuds might have a difficult season and wouldn't be surprised to see Norwich and Swansea suffer from second season syndrome. Be funny if West Ham go straight back down but think they will be alright with big Sam at the helm. QPR will be stronger and Joey Barton will self-explode at some point.

Steve Kean will finally get sacked by Blackburn when they struggle for a mid table position. Bolton will go straight back up I think.

As for the SPL they may as well give the title to Celtic now!
