Well,I was seriously unwell for this week's attempts and felt really bad about not doing the songs justice My voice was just dead

Originally posted by FlikNot a chance in hell. I wonder how many people know where the name Moshulu came from? It's actually pretty cool, wish I had thought of it.
I've only found one other Moshulu during my casual observations and that was in the Godfather Part 2(Moshulu being the boat the Don Corleone travelled to america in)

Thought you were planning to do an acoustic/chill out night?
-
I burnt them because they weren't something I'd wanted to create. They were contrived and berefit of emotion, not to mention quality
-
I'll just keep doing what I have been doing and still not care what people think(especially if they try and classify me )Just now I'm working on trying two things:an instrumental bass version of Brahm's Concerto No 5 and an acoustic version of Whole lotta Love.I did try and write songs that people would like but I hated them and burned the paper they were written on.
Hasta luego,Kris

Lifehouse just played their first scottish gig(after 3 cancelations)and my god was it worth the wait. They opened with an rocking jam then launched into "Spin"."Sick cycle carousel" had the crowd really singing along,as did breathing.First major highlight was "Everything",complete with burnt fingers from my lighter dying.Encore comprised of a cover of "Something" by the beatles,"Trying" and the show ended with "Hanging by a Moment" for tonight Jason,Rick,Sergio and Sean

I want to go
-
Sounds cool and I wouldn't mind helping out if needed
-
It's warwick Blues I use anyway, although my bass came with Blacks
-
I get my warwick strings for 10 a set in Glasgow.High quality, good tone and clarity,a good all round set of bass strings
-
There's only been one occassion where I found cause to complain about moshulu and that was a few weeks ago.Little over 2 weeks till I become a regular feature of the moshulu bar once more
-
Especially when I get back north

Oh...and Johnson (I assume its Johnson as in Tom and Tim etc) try living in Glasgow with only the Cathouse...its crap... Moshulu is about 100 times better....
And I can't be bothered replying to earlier comments..its all been said already.
I agree with the above comments. The only worthwhile feature of the cathouse was the last man standing conest(which I won the last time I was in)Moshulu is far better:band:
-
dunlop mediums for my acoustic, don't use them for bass playing
-
Never been ID'd at moshulu, not even after a 2 month absence.I've heard of quite a few people being asked recently
-
I was in on monday the 11th and have to say that the music wasn't nearly as good as it was during term time.I did speak to you briefly Flik and I hope that mondays return to the way I've grown to love them by the time I move back to Aberdeen. Hasta luego,Kris
