  1. Sorry mate' date=' not from my position it isn't![/quote']

I suppose. Just a shame that with Rangers drawing, Hibs losing and Celtic coming sooooo close to not winning, the mighty JTs won't be playing for top spot on New Year's Day. Still, given that I'm unaware of any Livvy fans on here (and let's face it, what are the chances?), I hope you manage to avoid the drop. Even if I have ex-related reasons to wish otherwise :p

  2. Dunfermline 3-3 Rangers.

    Hearts 5-0 Falkirk.

I'm going to need surgery to get rid of this grin.

If he wasn't a shit manager and a *censor's self for fear of legal retribution*, I'd love Graham Rix and his ugly mug.

We were pretty good today, but I've never seen a team leave an entire wing as open as Falkirk did. Even before the sending off. We looked like a Burley team, and I'm not yet prepared to give Rix credit for that...

  3. 1) The Belfry doesn't exist' date=' and hasn't for at least 9 months

    2) I was on a brief stop from Bennets when I posted that.

    3) My phone was being charged when you phoned.

    4) Merry Christmas! Hope those damn scousers are behaving themselves and not kicking lumps out of each other (as if).[/quote']

    Oh, and...

    5) The Belfry were cunts last year and wouldn't let us in at 8 o'bastardingclock. Dicks.

Back on topic, the Ralph Myerz album also deserves a mention.

  4. Why aren't you at the Belfry? I'm at cunting work....

  5. Pendulum - Hold Your Colour

...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - Worlds Apart

American Head Charge - The Feeding

    Saul Williams - Saul Williams

Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth

Million Dead - Harmony No Harmony

    Sigur Ros - Takk

    Bloc Party - Sigur Ros

The Go! Team - Thunder' date=' Lightning, Strike

    System Of A Down - Mezmerize[/quote']

The Go! Team was last year.

  6. Boards of Canada - Campfire Headphase - Never really got into Geogaddi, and loved *some* of Music Has The Right... but they seem to have managed to offload the filler and unlistenable crap on this one.

Annie - Anniemal - I absolutely LOVE this album. It's cheesy, it's pop-py, it also sounds like Royksopp/Ralph Myerz and thus is soooooperb.

Super Furry Animals - Lovekraft - Mighty return to form after a couple of patchy albums. No massively obvious singles like their earlier albums, but great nevertheless.

Royksopp - The Understanding - Apart from 49 Percent, which is bollocks.

But my absolute, top of the pops favourite of 2005 goes to....

Buck 65 - Secret House Against The World - I really wasn't sure about this when I first got it. I knew it was either awful or genius. It's genius. If you've not heard it, he sounds a bit like an evil Calexico. Or Alt Country with scratching. Or just fucking brilliant. I command you to go and buy this in the January sales - if you give it a few listens, you won't regret it.

Notable mentions also to Little Barrie, Jamie Lidell (too patchy to make the final cut though) and DJ Format.

  7. he's already an idiot' date=' as is proved when he goes for the "wine job" in the sunday magazine...he just thinks he is better than the idiots around him.[/quote']

Actually, if you read what Popcorn Fiend wrote, it all looks a bit like an admission...

  8. Its actually thanks to Hearts that Caley have a chance in beating Celtic tomorrow. Apparantly we have Richard Hastings dressing up in a Graham Rix costume and man-marking Shaun Maloney' date=' that'll put the shits up him.

:note: yes i know that the above comment isn't technically sound, still funny though.[/quote']

Sage like advice: If it ain't broke, don't Rix it.

I REALLY hope you win tomorrow. But I fear the worst.

    Fancy a manager swap?

  9. Sorry about that' date=' I left my computer logged in and my flatmate is an idiot.

For the record I bought the Sony NW A3000, 20Gb, black and shiny, it's very nice.....[/quote']

A fine choice. Just remember not to drop it when you're drunk, thus scratching up one entire side of it, and making it look much less pretty. Only a fool would do that.

  10. we did it again' date=' dad

and i fancy a whinge but i feel it has all been said before so i'll just settle for

    FUCKIN HELL MIN...[/quote']

Try being a Hearts fan and watching the Graham Rix, Vladimir Romanov double-act hand Celtic the title and Hibs/Rangers our best ever chance of being in the Champions League. We're playing like the Pars at the moment.

  11. If you're actually bothered about the sound quality, the Sony will kick the living crap out of an iPod. But yes, SonicStage is pretty balls (and don't download the upgrade from the Sony website, it actually manages to make it slower to rip CDs). The new Sony ones also look *much* sexier than an iPod.

Your Nano would have a colour screen though.

  12. Sorry to drag up a 9 month old thread' date=' but I just sat and watched the whole series: its fucking ace!

It works on loads of levels - yes Barley is a twat, but he's actually not a bad bloke. And Dan is more intelligent, but deep down he's an idiot too, and a bit of a vicious cunt (as witnessed in the final episode), so it's not as black and white as "Barley bad, Dan Good".

Scissor/Cat interface, Barleys "rap", underage sex and Pingu jumping out the window are highlights.....[/quote']

That's well coincimental. I've just watched the entire series as well, and I love it more than ever. Works much better as a DVD, as you can watch Nathan becoming more and more pathetic as the series wears on.

  13. Have been to both Stockholm and Newcastle. Wasn't that impressed with the ladies in Stockholm to be honest, have been to much better places in Europe. Wasn't at all impressed with the ladies in Newcastle on the other hand.

Stockholm itself is a stunning city. Newcastle, well, isn't.

  14. I agree that Dempsey isn't playing too well and I've went ballistic at some of his desicions. But looking back to the CIS Cup game against Motherwell - yes I know we were as shit as Livi on a bad day but Dempsey showed a few flashes of skill which both my mate and I were impressed with. One being a cheeky backheel when he was cornered by 2 or 3 players which had Ronaldinho written all over it. They then focused on JC who stood there in awe with a kind of speechless "you feckin show them gary" look on his face.

I hate Gary Dempsey. And it's entirely because of that stupid fucking dance he does when he scores.
