There weren't as many people at their last gig as the ones before but there were still more people there than at the gigs i've seen them at in glasgow and they are still playing there.

I haven't heard the album yet but looking at the tracklisting the only old songs on it are "eating only apples" and "tonight my wife is your wife" as well as "lets stop hanging out". I was hoping for "wooden boy" and "miffy in auschwitz" but never mind, i'm looking forward to friday.

Thats quite a good placing considering they've never got higher than about 80 someting before and that was with singles far better than freddy krueger. Why aren't they playing a gig at kef on their tour?

I saw bright eyes last year and i would like to see them again but I can't really afford to go to manchester or london at the moment. I wouldn't say bright eyes are emo.

Of course, because any band beggining with "the" that are mentioned in the nme is automatically crap. Also they will all be quickly forgotten.
What about THE Beatles, THE Smiths, THE Pixies or THE Clash. Now go away and never speak about what you do not know of.
The Libertines are good, but not as extremely brilliant as some think.

it's been a very dissapointing year for new albums for me. I've bought lots of cd's this year but only two of them were released this year: The coral and franz ferdinand's releases.

DDG became Interlude PR a few months back, there were some personal differences in Interlude, and so I left and am now relaunching DDG.

I haven't seen any of their set at glastonbury, but they were fantastic when i saw them at the secc last year and i'm looking forward to seeing them at t in the park, although that obviously depends on whether they still play.
