    So you can't see the aberdeen music trend showing through with alot of the untalented crap that is mentioned? I find that completely astonishing

    sorry...but why do you care what anyone else listens to...dude...

    I like Norma Jean' date=' the first 4 ZAO records, 7Angels7Plagues, Edict of Milan, Spirit of versailles, Sinking Steps....Rising Eyes and a few other outwardly Christian bands.

    Im a very anti-christian. Anti-religion actually. but im also anti fascist and anti-nazi, so it would be hypocritical of me not to listen to these bands because of their views when people clearly know that I listen to bands liek Graveland, Burzum and Mayhem.

    Its just music, Im not gonna take their lyrics or views to heart, so fuck it, as long as it sounds good, its good.[/quote']

    Although...I don't agree with you on Zao...I really dislike that band...

    oh really...who are these bands you speak of?

    Ill check em out cos ill probably love them. considering they wont talk about pure shit in the the lyrics and actually be heavy while still retaining some sense of a melody.

    in response to a few people on here.

    "angel o' death," ALex from atreyu aint miming the singing bits...you see the drummer singing them but Alex is just singing along in the video...like he does when they play live he mouths the words...just like i do when someone else in my band sings or screams...like alot of frontmen do! In the atreyu video, they arent trying to pass alex off as singing the melodic parts. I think its obvious to be honest.

    Jim (new disorder,) what is your problem with everything GOOD musically nowadays. Basically it seems to me that if something is pretty good then you dont like it. Its sad man. What do you listen to nowadays: Death threat and stretch armstrong?? Nothin personal...just what i see really.

    Dan: Views are spot on about BFMV. I find the structures of the songs quite refresing though. Simple is refreshing nowadays sopmetimes.

    Mac does have a point. It sucks.

    what does pull though? I mean even the skate/pop/ska bands that used to pack out lave/kef/glow dont pull like they used to IN ABERDEEN. It seems that people split themselves so far down into genres of what they like that they only go to a very limited amount of shows. I think these people are denying themselves what they want to like or REALLY like in alot of cases. Its quite sad.

    I mean...in January we have an amazing show coming up at Kef. Two bands i LOVE, underoath and roses are red are playing along with a band i really quite like, silverstein and also a pretty big UK band, the hurt process. All at one show. That bill is pretty much modern day post hardcore heaven. Ill be VERY suprised if it does 200...100 even actually.

    Glasgow...it will sell out or be upgraded...mark my words. Its sad.

    no..hold on.

    I think that reply (under the DR DRAKE account) is not fair. Epicircus has a valid point in a way you know. Even if it wasnt a valid point he is entitled to say that considering its not a ridiculous or spiteful statement.

    I think its awesome that Ross does what he does...BUT its apparent that maybe the population is something that affects shows you know. The fact that there isnt that many people here period...you see the point now?

    I still love thursday...and I think they went in an opposite way sort of...I think they kinda got better through their career...

    I love the new record...but I don't listen to it as much as full collapse...but musically...they are a much bigger, better, and tighter band on war all the time...

    In my opinion anyways...
