  1. If you did your homework you'd see the 'Disfear' and 'Skitsystem' involvement by this band' date=' i'm sure they're used to small venues, the moorings is a great venue for the gig.[/quote']

But I never said it would be a shit place for them to play...I sai it would be great to see them there...

  2. Hmm' date=' what's so strange about it?[/quote']

Well, the great deciever contain the singer from At The Gates

So I mean...I'm not sure how they would react on a stage which is a small as the Moorings....

There is 5 or 6 of them....

But as I said....Shouldn't impair the quality of the show...

    Will be nice and intimate...

  3. where's the Great Deceiver gig happening?

It is at the moorings....strange place...

The Gret Deciever probably won't come back to Aberdeen after that...but it will be an awesome show none the less....

    Nice and intimate...and fucking loud.....

  4. For me any noise/grind band that uses melodic vocals doesn't seem right.

Whenever a band does this in their music when changing their style it seems to me that either a - they want to sell more records or b - the record lable is turning the screw on them to have more financial gain on the band. Either way it's wrong

Or maybe they want to experiment a bit...dude...your opinions are totally shit....so so bad...

Why should a band who are noise/grind be considered a 'sell out' because they have melodic vocals....?

That was a really elitist and shit thing to say....

Melodic vocals break up a 35 minute album of nothing but screaming....

  5. Nope' date=' there were a 1000 whopping copies of that done, we did a wee 4 track thing for the launch of our old webite, I think it had an alternative/distorted mix of 'Get Tattooed', our cover of the Clash's 'Clampdown' and two unreleased songs (one of which we never played live), 'Coincidence Design' and 'Needs Must When The Devil Drives'. No one in Aberdeen bought it ;)[/quote']

    I remember that one....

It was called something 'Whiskey' wasn't it...?

  6. It's all about Misery Signals.

    Fuck yeah!

And I agree with Stuart...The Chariot are the trendoid band of the 2...

Everyone seems to have forgotten about NJ...and everyone is having a shit over the Chariot...

    ah well...whatever...

NJ are still fucking awesome....no one can disagree....

They have kinda lost that Isis-ish element to their sound....but have gone for a much more flowing style...

    Awesome!

  7. I was there with the above too. Was funny watching the peeps in the crowd who didn't expect the sheer POWER of their set lol. Love what you guys are doing' date=' kicking the aberdeen music scene in the pants and making us beg for more! :D Can't wait to see you guys play again and EP perhaps?!

    Take care!

    perhaps...

once more songs are down maybe....

  8. I'd say that Slow Riot For Zero Kanada was the best work ever. (the one with the jewish writing on the front + a molotov cocktail inside).

and for me' date=' the first LP (Fainfinityfitivver) is the best LP...after that they started to get far too anal...

    buy both on amazon for buttons ;

I also agree...'slow riot' is great....

    Anyone heard Mum...?

They are meant to be fairly similiar...and working in a record store...I keep meaning to check them out...but always forget...
