na na na
it should read
Epitaph- has offshoot labels like epitaph europe, burning heart, hellcat and a few others (like that one where they put out the straight RnR and country stuff)
Fat Wreck Chords-has offshoot labels like honest dons, pink and black.
Epitaph and Fat are separate bodies.
but yeah those 2 are probably my favourites, although lookout does kick ass, i just dont have enough of their releases

...the aritcle "east coast vs west coast" with Thrice vs Thursday is awesome...
i read it in kev's metal hammer, and i didnt see any kind of "battle" between the two bands like promised on the front cover, other than "yeah we're east coast and Sick of it all come from there so yeah." and " we're west coast and we've got ice cube and dre so yeah".
then again i only read the first three quarts of it. did they battle at the end?

im sure there are a billion more ska bands other than jesse james and normans fetish?

d-rail are one of the best hardcore bands i've seen in the last 6 months,
anyone else find this statement strange, just the whole 6 months thing, it seem strange to me, i would expect "d-rail are on of the best hardcore bands ive seen" or "d-rail are on of the best hardcore bands ive seen in a long time."
but 6 months?can bands from the first 6 months be compared with bands from the second 6 months? whats with 6 months?

it is strange that if there is no barrier the staff expect the equipment to not get bumped into, but at the same time understandable, cos if the monitor fell, it would cost to have it replaced, and it would break somones foot, they'd go home and cry, and take out a lawsuit.
up to the venue i guess

at first you think " fuck his singing is shit" becuase most the vocal melodys are fuck all like on the studio albums, but after a while you think " hey its not bad actually" then you get ideas about harmonies for your own shitty band to use

just finished writing lyrics for a song im gonna do, its a NOFX song, but ive re-worked the lyrics to fit my experiences of seeing local bands.
yes a possible contender for the worst lyrics put to song.
The first time i saw Griffus,
They were the shittest band i'd ever seen
No one in the crowd really cared for them,
They were waiting for Oddity to play
After a couple weeks i heard "Bad News"
At yet another unattended show
For me that was enough
I got on the net, and joined the official Griffus fanclub
The next time i was at Dr.Drakes
It was Inept 303 with the X-certs (i put this show on)
The latter band played better than i could believe,
But the songs sounded the same and kinda sucked
Except "Why Do You" and "Had Enough"
"Bad Times" and "One Time Too Many"
Then Sam Annal told Murray to fuck off
Cos Sam wanted to kick it with K-Dub
The next week i went to hospital
I need to have my bloated belly pumped
I managed to catch about 6 songs of 10 easy
Then some prick put some Ruffies in my drink
My girlfriend started to cry because we had to leave
Before Sirius played 50 lousy songs
My sick stained shirt smelled of terry's cunt
But it sure looked pretty cool after a wash.

right, on les-paul bridges theres like two main bits:
a. the bit that the strings go through and lock onto
b. and the bit that has the string saddles on it.
i recently restrung my les-paul and i think i put the part with the saddles on the wrong way round and the intonation appears to be wrong.
hmmmmmmmm
so theres 6 little screws that adjust the saddles. which way do they face? towards the neck or away from the neck. currently they are facing the neck.
so anyway is it the wrong way around or what?
cheers.
i told you so, wouldnt take my word for it. wanker

Don't get into the habit of buying food from extortionate service stations. On the last PaGG tour we bought 70 of stuff from Lidl before we left and didn't need to buy anything extra for two weeks (between 5 people).
Don't ask me about booking. It's a living nightmare.
thats a good one, we're gonna have 4 people and 2 fat bastards to feed so we're lookin at about 100 on food.
