Yes. I've only had mine for just over a week and it's by far the best camera I've ever owned.
Ive had mine about a year now and love it. Used a D70 before and rarely use it now. Have bought a couple of SB-600s and have started messing around with the wireless flash.

I actually really fancy a D80. I've set in concrete that I want 10mp. However, the D80 is tre pricey and may take some saving. I figure it'd be worth saving up for but am scared I may not have the skill to handle it. The Canon 400d is sitting nicely in my price range though.
I was planning on paying you a visit this thursday or next thursday.
what about the d40x? that is 10mp ~400quid. getting decent reviews too.
if you can stretch to 800 quid go for the d200

Having been subjected to very intimidating and unjust behaviour by a bouncer I am very angry.
Travis were nice guys, the security in The Music Hall as usual were very amenable, Paddy Ratsa were nice guys, once again the Drummonds door staff were great, Bombscare were nice guys, the ACDC tribute in Kef and once again the door staff were ace, Stephen Milne and Yogi were nice guys, as was Nicky Casino, and all the bar staff, but that bouncer in Tunnels was WELL out of line.
I am not a dick , was not drunk or beeing cheeky and do not deserve to be intimidated ,or pushed around and spoken down to, grrr, it REALLY spolied my night .
were you yapping through the gig?

My unkle was lucky enough to see them at the Playhouse in '86 with Anthrax supporting - think the tix were 4.50.
Anyone see them at the Ayr Pavillion or Glasgow on the Hell On Earth tour with the Rods and Exciter?
-
First saw them at the Playhouse with Danzig around Sept 88. Played two nights and I went to the second, have a bootleg tape of it somewhere.

This chap knows how to use photoshop or perhaps his re-toucher does. Not a huge fan of over digitised pictures but there is some tasty lighting going on. Check it out, some nice work Dave Hill Photo

Whit ?
What exactly does Napalm Death have to do with Annihilator having a shite song out?
Im sure you got to see them in their prime and good on you man.
I saw Annihilator as support to Judas Priest on their Painkiller tour, man they rocked the Playhouse.
Will be checking out their new album for sure:up:

Well looking forward to seeing them again.
New album is a cracker:up:

Hot fact: Filthpact do a cover of Cress's 'Monuments' on the upcoming record.
Aye but what about the keys+drum machine:up:
Looking forward to hearing it.

Cool. Did you catch the Active Minds show with Bloodshot and Aktifist?
Regarding Cress, I didn't catch 'em there, but did at The East Neuk in '98. Played on the same bill. Caught 'em in Edinburgh too (with Quarantine and Doom) '97, and in Glasgow with Dropdead and John Holmes in '98.
Sure did...

You made that show? Cool. Yeah, had the opportunity to go see 'em again on that very same tour a lil later in London, but didn't make it. While I wasn't that big on their music, they were an awesome band nevertheless, taking the time to talk at length between songs, something which I think is just so cool. It's sad really that more folks don't.
Sure did...made most of the Cellar 35 gigs. Sadly miss Cress tho' they were an amazing live band.

Phwoar! I'll be catching them in Minehead at ATP, though - But still, score for Scotland. Have they ever played north of the border before?
believe they played the fringe festival in some form.
-
As usual this pisses me off because guys like yourself will head for Glasgow and won't go to Aberdeen events which leads to them being less well attended which means we don't get bands like this in the future. Stupid vicious circle.
I'm with you that....already contemplating going down the road to see Yellow Swans/Evan Parker. Plus Mr R is performing In C in Edinburgh.
Quite chuffed Neubauten are playing Glasgow cos we usually make an annual pilgrimage to the big smoke to see them.

Yeah looks like it...their April dates are
April 22nd, Hannover (Capitol)
April 24th, London (Koko)
April 25th, Glasgow (Triptych Festival)
April 26th, Notthingham (Rock City)
April 28th, Minehead (All Tommorrow's Parties)
The usually only play 1 date in London. Certainly shaping up to be an excellent line-up this year.

Trip-Tych, Glasgow 25/4
