    for anyone thinking of going down to Hinterland in glasgow next week...

    i bought a List 'early bird' 2 day ticket...cost 30 instead of the usual 42...bargain i thought...but now i cant go...anyone want to purchase this from me? its an e ticket but all i have to do is tell them the change of name

    Dizzy Storm & Force of Habit come together to ensure the return of the mighty mighty CHICKENHAWK to Aberdeen...yus! and we have Tunnel 1 on a Saturday night...yus!! therefore, a mighty sound engineer...yus!! :D

    Born 2004. Made songs. Recorded three songs in 2005. Demo released. Recorded two more songs in 2006. Split with I Breathe Spears and With Scissors released on Millipede Records. Recorded 12 songs from April - December 2007. Album released 2008. Drummer Matt Reid joined late 2008, Stick Phil Collinsed to the front. Here endeth the history lesson.

    their debut album 'Chickenhawk' is a raging schizophrenic multi-personality disorder of an album. Insanely original and musically adept the four members have fashioned a UK sound that stands up to the heavy avant guard of Naked City and Mr. Bungle whilst also having the riffs and head-banging nature of Melvins and Harvey Milk.

    Pete Doherty,The Libertines and their entourage turning up at the end of a open mic, where Pete & Karl (that his name?) took over the stage, sang songs from shows whilst clearly out of it...we couldnt get rid of them, jim had to chuck them out in the end

    i may edit this with more highlights when i remember...

    i also remember the cleaning up of puke and the throwing people out. oh and the lock ins, and the lack of sleep :love:

    I'm playing Edinburgh on the Thursday night but I have both days off work so I'm gonna come down for Thursday daytime action and all day Friday action.

    on the other hand phil, you might be disappointed, i just found out that this line up is happening on the Thurs night!

    remastered album should be in my posession tomorrow, so im estimating another few weeks until i have the final product in my hand. at last!
