  1. Explosions were fantastic, Bikini Atoll at times were superb.

    The highlights:

    Yasmin The Lights - Explosions

The guitarists in Explosions all hitting their instruments in unison.

Bikini Atoll's Black Dog and new songs.

    Mark's beard (Explosions)

Rory aka Sex Pest Sidca's drunken state

    The lows:

The shitty attitudes of the staff on the night.

  2. "Young Bodies Heal Quickly, You Know" is an amazing album, and in my opinion their best. Subsisty is right though, "Hide The Kitchen Knives" is great too.

Congleton (the main man) writes and records all of the pAper chAse stuff.

    Genius.

It's marvellously disturbing. Much better than this New Romantic music, or whatever these kids listen to nowadays.

What does everyone make of this new "Music Television" then?

  3. I can't believe I'd never listened to this band before.

I've downloaded some great tracks like Anthrax, At Home He's A Tourist and I Found That Essence Rare.

One Up better have Entertainment tomorrow or I might cry...

    Yes, quite,

Looking at my tight schedule, I could fit you in on the 29th for your destruction. ET play the Lemon Tree.

You could try to "kick me in" or "fuck me up" or whatever you kids call it these days.

I'll be swooning and playing the soundtrack, so it doesn't bother either way, blood is good.

  5. Here you go Motherfuckers...

    1. best band - Electric Tibet

    2. worst band - Hot Mangu

    3. best newcomer: dedalus

    4. best live act : the needles

    5. best fudgenight performance : I don't care, I've seen some and haven't seen others

    6. best rock act : ach, I can't be bothered with "soft" rock, Eric Euan / Maple

    7. best punk act : I'm really not keen on any of these bands, although I haven't seen the x-certs, Sirius if they were around.

    8. best heavy metal act : ditto, I haven't seen reep, Subsisty and the Cats if they were around

    9. best extreme act : easy, sidca (not just because Rory is in Masamune)

    10. best of the rest award for acts we can't label so easily :sleazy hookers green #1

    11. best international act (outta towners to you) : fickle public,

    12. the posthumous blackslap award for most missed : subsistence, oh Fat Cat

    13. best clubnight : death valley 69,

    14. best release : the stacattatcato set (debut gun ep) (I hear it's good),

    15. best venue : dr drakes / the lemon tree

Fight? Well, Fucker Paul for sure, and on the merits of this thread ol' StuartMaxwell and his bud Dan, although Dan's s'lright and I usually like the people I meet off here, Stuart.Woop.

Shag? Well, my penis only comes out for action on the more mature ladies (oap homes), and the odd attractive anally loose sheep dog. The barmaids in Drummonds are tres sexy though.

Just so you don't mislead anyone.

How is it misleading, when I put the date and where it was made? Makes your post pretty pointless. Vintage can also mean "from a particular period" which the pedal is.

So get the lingo straight bucko, and ship out.

    Hog - 20?
