  3. The wonders of posting in a hurry' date=' thats all I can say. Oh, and the addition of stupidity.[/quote']

I dont get the B2TF pic but its always cool to scope marty bustin a 'chuck' move

Hay frosty were you drunk & posting? again!

(sorry back to the mater in hand)

    I dont do buy in's

I would only do a trade in

and realy you should sell your amp your self coz

if i take it in i have to sell it @ its second hand value

inc VAT and i have to make money so what i would offer you would suck

    so just sell it yourself

  4. Yea' date=' like David has said, have you got any ideas on pricing yet? Mine is also a strat style body but i was thinking of more complicated graphics.[/quote']

it was realy graphic type stuff we were thinking about coz the guy we have been in talks with is a tatoo guy so it was that kinda thing were thinking of doing and not respay type stuff

  5. hey man popped in 2 see u the day but u were off jus fancied a blether an i had 2 see neil about a nut replacement but nicki told me he had jus left an he was swamped under anyway the place looks fuckin decent man an i reckon the gtr department will be sweet wen u get in the full stock!

    take it easy' date='

    Danny.[/quote']

    SORRY DUDE

    hopfully see you soon

  6. I went into the shop the other day and it looks like it's going to be really good.

    THANK YOU!

I noticed one of the staff working on a custom painted guitar at the back of the bottom floor and this reminded me' date=' it would be very cool if you guys got in touch with a guy who can do custom paintjobs on guitars (if there is one in the area)

    Just an idea

    [/quote']

That is a good idea so good infact me and Neil (the tec) have already found a guy and we will be doing something very soon

    thankyou for your input

    c u later

  7. just to ask again' date=' do you know if you will be getting in a Fender MIM 52 tele, and a MIJ Jazzmaster? and if so, how much?

    David[/quote']

yes i will but i wont have any for about 12 weeks coz of fender stock

    im selling my Jag

its a mid 90's jap in 3col SB with a shaller bridge (the fender ones are crap)

    in realy good nic

    its a great player

    iv lost the trem arm!

im looking for 400 for it

  8. Would it not be true in saying that a performance is dependant on the atmosphere and signal quality from instrument to listener.

You guys should maybe have look at A.C Lightings website and also check out D& B speakers (specifially E9's ) and the new midas range of mixing desks (The warehouse in edinburgh could give you details for suppliers.)

They are all affordable for customers and beat half the shit bands have to put up with in venues.

Also Le Maitre effects machines ( haze' date=' smoke, ooooo bubbles!)

    They are all top notch.

the shite ( peavey, celestion, behringer, etc ) that bruce millers and R&B try to flog is not worth the money that most people part with.

You should definetly check out PLASA website.[/quote']

I sold PA and lights for 4years working in bruce millers and there welcome to it!

its not realy my scene any more.

we are working with quite a small ish shop unit and were wanting to be a realy good guitar/drum shop and not get drawn into being a

jack of all trades, master of none

we are keen to play to are strenths at this time

  9. will there be the option to put down deposits on equipment?

Yes but its more put down a deposit then pay the balince not come in every week with a fiver kinda thing

I also want to buy the following guitar...

that is a fantastic axe!! double cut' date=' LP Jr, in TV YELLOW

with P90'S that guitar would be fantasicly dirty and totaly rocking

can you please stock one specifically for me so I can put down a deposit and play it to death in the shop every day to see if I wanna buy it or not??

    in one word

    NO!!!!!!

  10. Wow! Its all early days right now

I dont know what the lead prices are going to be but I know I am mainly going to be stocking

PLANET WAVE cables that are really really good and come with a life time warranty

I cant think of better value than that

I dont want to announce the string prices here (you never know whos reading this)

But come to the store and see I can guarantee the best string prices in town!!

I would never dream of banning tunes

If you dig the Darkness play the Darkness

play Stairway (we have a twin neck SG in @ the moment it would be a crime if someone didnt )

Play smoke on the Fn water

If someone digs a tune they dig a tune who am I to stop them playing it

It will be a dark day when I start putting up signs dictating what you can or cant play in the shop

that sniffs of class A snobery to me and Boarderline fascism

At the end of the day people are looking at guitars not playing for my entertainment

so why should I care as long as they respect the shop and the goods and equipment and staff everyones happy!!!

    Marshall,

No Im not going to sell Marshall

and I have many reasons for this

    The two main ones are,

As a company they are hard to deal with because they love R&B

    The other is,

They are a massive name in amps 'market leaders' if you will and its true there

BRITISH MADE amps & cabs rock

who am I to disagree with Zakk or Slash

but and theres a big but!!!!

The mass produced VS? and G? stuff is nothing like the UK stuff and I really dont like it

for the money theres a lot better stuff out there than the cheaper Marshall stuff

And theres better stuff than the UK stuff as well

    I am not a fan

    wow thats alot of stuffs

  11. Will the shop be pretty well stocked to begin with' date=' or will we have to wait a couple of weeks to see a wide range of stuff?[/quote']

If your looking for an amp we have the hughs & kettner stuff in now and if you play a seven string it would be worth checking out the WARP or the VORTEX combos

they rock there realy loud and pack that modern crunch!!

When it comes to trying stuff out there not a booth or room (at the moment) but no one should be intimidated about trying stuff

im realy easy going about stuff like that.

I would like to add (even though its cheesy)

all four members of staff @ prosound are gigging musicians

who were once out shopping with a parent for there first guitar/bass/kit or whatever

Who play gigs and have the same problems as everyone else so you should feel free to ask us for any advise.

We are planning to have a musical agony aunt style bit on the web site where you can ask us for advice

On technical of gear based problems

the best ones will be posted on the web site.

We are really dedicated to the live scene in Aberdeen

So we will be happy to put up any posters advertising gigs and we will have a

BAND MEMBERS WANTED style board as well

We have just donated a new house kit to the wonderful

    Dr Drakes

A PEARL ELX in a blue ish tranz purple colour

    Which is cool !!!!!
