  1. When you're standing at a green-man crossing and you've pressed the button and you're waiting for the lights to change then some new arse comes along and presses the button again... what the fuck are they thinking? That you're incapable of pressing a button.

Quite a lot of people don't bother pressing the button though. Especially in Glasgow I've found where there will be dozens of people waiting to cross but not one of them has pressed the button. Aberdeen is not too bad for this though. I only press the button if the light that says WAIT is not illuminated.

  2. I went to Di maggios on Friday with the girls and had a mammoth feed of Yang Yang Chicken (Breast goujons coated in a seasame batter with bbq sauce - a must!) THE FINEST lasgane I have EVER had and followed by sharing 3 puddings with 3 pals...mmmmmmcheesecake, deep dish apple pie (one of the finest ever) and chcoclate fudge cake....boy you had to roll me out of there

All for 30 (included a good tip, drinks and coffees)

DI Maggios ying yang chicken is amazing! That bbq sauce they use tastes so so good. I always try and go when I'm in Glasgow. The three (I think its 3) cheese pasta they do is also lovely. Good burgers too.

  3. I like Daisy. I think its a good record apart from the track Be Gone which I made sure didn't make it to my computer or mp3 player when I ripped the cd. Awesome opening track as well which sort of reminded me of Fugazi a bit. Think its the guitar riff and backing vocals.

I much prefer their last two albums over the first two, although I did enjoy them at the time.

  4. I'm a big fan of the new album. I enjoyed the first but there were a couple of tracks that didn't really do it for me. But the new one totally hits the spot.

I agree on the re-hashing old material. Don't think there was any need for the 'killed my parents and hit the road' cd thing they released. Would of maybe been better as a download or bonus disc or something. Although I quite enjoyed the 'here it never snowed yesterday it did' ep. Some nice moments on it.

  5. Someone has probably posted this before, but people talking at gigs. Especially when its a quiet act playing.

I went to see Bat For Lashes in Glasgow last week. I was looking forward to hearing the songs that had given me goosebumps on many occasions being played live, but instead those beautiful tender quieter moments of the set were spoilt for me by two girls standing behind me talking really loudly. I did not pay 17 to go and listen to them talk. Fucking morons!
