Is the frequency analyzer this one?
If so I'll take it!

Whats the going rate for a bassman head? If I had a spare 400 I would of snapped up the one from Strung Out. Heard someone using one with bass not long ago and he was getting an awesome tone out of it.
-
Strung Out guitars in Glasgow had a Fender Bassman head when I was there a few weeks ago and its still listed on their website.

Quoted for truth.
No it wasn't.
Loved the show last night. I would list all the parts I found funny but it would be a list of pretty much everything he said.

I detest Mark Ronson's cover of Stop Me by the Smiths. One of my favourite Smiths songs ruined by Ronson's trumpet rape.

I'll take it for 40?

I went to Di maggios on Friday with the girls and had a mammoth feed of Yang Yang Chicken (Breast goujons coated in a seasame batter with bbq sauce - a must!) THE FINEST lasgane I have EVER had and followed by sharing 3 puddings with 3 pals...mmmmmmcheesecake, deep dish apple pie (one of the finest ever) and chcoclate fudge cake....boy you had to roll me out of there
All for 30 (included a good tip, drinks and coffees)
DI Maggios ying yang chicken is amazing! That bbq sauce they use tastes so so good. I always try and go when I'm in Glasgow. The three (I think its 3) cheese pasta they do is also lovely. Good burgers too.

After watching an episode of Cracker on ITV3 the other day it reminded me how much I enjoyed it. Going to dig my box set out soon and watch some more.

I really don't get all the hate for Be Gone, such a great track.
I hate the effect they put on the vocal. It just makes it really unlistenable for me.
-
I like Daisy. I think its a good record apart from the track Be Gone which I made sure didn't make it to my computer or mp3 player when I ripped the cd. Awesome opening track as well which sort of reminded me of Fugazi a bit. Think its the guitar riff and backing vocals.
I much prefer their last two albums over the first two, although I did enjoy them at the time.

I stayed in and watched Ghostwatch with some friends. I found it just as terrifying as I did when I first saw it when I was seven.

You can still get these vouchers at Sainsburys. I got one the other day.

I'm a big fan of the new album. I enjoyed the first but there were a couple of tracks that didn't really do it for me. But the new one totally hits the spot.
I agree on the re-hashing old material. Don't think there was any need for the 'killed my parents and hit the road' cd thing they released. Would of maybe been better as a download or bonus disc or something. Although I quite enjoyed the 'here it never snowed yesterday it did' ep. Some nice moments on it.

I might have this somewhere. I really fucking hope I do. If I find it, I'll PM you.
Any luck finding it?

Someone has probably posted this before, but people talking at gigs. Especially when its a quiet act playing.
I went to see Bat For Lashes in Glasgow last week. I was looking forward to hearing the songs that had given me goosebumps on many occasions being played live, but instead those beautiful tender quieter moments of the set were spoilt for me by two girls standing behind me talking really loudly. I did not pay 17 to go and listen to them talk. Fucking morons!

Would maybe be up for playing bass if you needed Huw.
-
New Unwinding Hours song up. Its fucking awesome. Can't wait for the album.

Before I take my head to Bruce Millers is there anywhere else?
Has anyone else put an amp into Bruce Millers for a repair before?

Dedalus ~ Lough Shore/
I don't suppose anyone has a copy of this song they could email me or something? Every time I want to listen to it I realise I don't actually have it. Would love to hear it again.

Picaresque is ace! My favourite Decemberists album by miles. Need to give the other albums more listens though.

can someone explain this one?

The Ripper in question is no longer available and currently in my living room. Best 400 I've ever spent. Absolutely lovely bass!
Pet Hates!

Quite a lot of people don't bother pressing the button though. Especially in Glasgow I've found where there will be dozens of people waiting to cross but not one of them has pressed the button. Aberdeen is not too bad for this though. I only press the button if the light that says WAIT is not illuminated.
