-
Liking the new track.
Nice build up' date=' good vocals and a deranged Phil!
Anyway, aye, good song. Can't really think of much more to add I'm afraid.[/quote']
cheers for the words,
this is a lot rougher than the other track up there, we all got a chance to pretend that we were upset about something.
-
i kind of agree with the saying "your only as good as your last song"
here are my last 2 songs
-

Hey hey' date='
Who's going to see the Czars tonight at the Tunnels?
Should be a good gig, saw them at Lemon Tree (Fudgenight) couple of years back and they were excellent.
Greig[/quote']
i also was at this gig, they were amazing, have since got 3 of their albums
all of which are great pieces of work.
tickets bought, can't wait
-
Its ok' date=' we know you love snares really
Funnily enough I've been having a hassle getting a decent snare sound in Cubase aswell, can't listen to your link at work just now, have a listen here to see what you think of the snare sound I got out of cubase [url']http://www.keilan303.demon.co.uk/redmedicine-song2.mp3 . I'll probably end up going for triggers, just sure as hell won't be going for the ones I'm ranting about above!
this is a very cool tune, anyone reading this should go listen to it.
i recon you could save the snare though, i'm not a fan of triggers.
-
very very nice, i liked that alot.
the snare is missing "that" snap and a wee bit of depth, and the toms are to thin for my ears, would love to hear it with some huge vocals.

what version of cubase are you running? i'm on sx2

He does...... but i loves him.....
Word on the street is that he is a body double for Will Young videos.
xCROONERxCOREx
it's all true, i do hate snares and i do body double for will young.*
*one of these above may not actually be true
-
Anyone heard them? They're all over the radio...New singles by Oasis' date=' Athlete, Snow patrol, coldplay etc etc etc..... snare drums that sound like they were recorded in a 10' metal pipe....I think it sounds shit...who's responsible? Which band took in St.Anger to their producer and said "thats a snare drum!" [/quote']
i hate snare drums, i spent about 4 hours last night trying to get the right sound out of one in cubase, it just wasn't gonna happen.
irecon i always get to anal when it comes to stuff that i'm involved in though, far to close.
i quite like the sound l got on the first track on this page, www.myspace.com/genevieveuk
what do you think?
-
you all should give "alphabetty" a try
for all your local band letter based spaghetti needs
-
I really like this guys' date=' great stuff!
Kenny, how was America?[/quote']
cheers calum,
america was good to me, las vegas is on another planet though.
cheers for the comments, this is the first track we have done as a
band, even though its me on bass... it came out very poppy
-

Setlist from a recent US show........
* Set it off
* Exploder
* Your time has come
* Like a stone
* Spoonman
* Doesn't remind me
* Gasoline
* Out of Exile
* Be Yourself
* Bulls on Parade/Sleep now in the Fire
* Outshined
* Shadow on the Sun
* ENCORE
* Black Hole Sun
* I am the Highway
* Show me how to Live
* Killing in the Name
* Cochise
What's that?? Three Soundgarden and three Rage songs!! Could either be really good or really bad.......
I will still prob go just to check out Cornell.
As it happens, the girlfriend and i were at said show in vegas,
it was the single best gig i have ever been to. the soundgarden songs were mindblowing
(black hole sun was done by cornell alone and was stunning)
bulls on parade was only about 8 bars long and the crowd went nuts.
the other two rage track were actually pretty decent, the crowd done most of the singing though.
if your a soundgarden fan i would go, i almost pissed my pants when spoonman kicked in.
-
only 2 of Genevieve are on that.
only 1 of Genevieve are on this.

Yup' date=' we still need a bassist. There must be someone out there who would be interested in this?[/quote']
I don't know, you'd think that bass players would be easy to find.
Someone out there must be interested in
making sweet music with three sweaty men?
-
