Funnily enough I've been having a hassle getting a decent snare sound in Cubase aswell, can't listen to your link at work just now, have a listen here to see what you think of the snare sound I got out of cubase

very very nice, i liked that alot.
the snare is missing "that" snap and a wee bit of depth, and the toms are to thin for my ears, would love to hear it with some huge vocals.

They're all over the radio...New singles by Oasis' date=' Athlete, Snow patrol, coldplay etc etc etc..... snare drums that sound like they were recorded in a 10' metal pipe....I think it sounds shit...who's responsible? i hate snare drums, i spent about 4 hours last night trying to get the right sound out of one in cubase, it just wasn't gonna happen.
irecon i always get to anal when it comes to stuff that i'm involved in though, far to close.

What's that?? Three Soundgarden and three Rage songs!! Could either be really good or really bad.......
I will still prob go just to check out Cornell.
As it happens, the girlfriend and i were at said show in vegas,
it was the single best gig i have ever been to. the soundgarden songs were mindblowing
(black hole sun was done by cornell alone and was stunning)
bulls on parade was only about 8 bars long and the crowd went nuts.
the other two rage track were actually pretty decent, the crowd done most of the singing though.
if your a soundgarden fan i would go, i almost pissed my pants when spoonman kicked in.
