I know every dons fan has a bit of a chub for Paul Hartley and he has been decent this season so far. But why is he not taking more flak for the loss?

He gets himself sent off stupidly early for an incident that would have only had them 1 - 0 down, I know Celtic got a player sent off as well but they were already 3 - 0 up then and it was game over.

If it was my team I'd be raging at him as much as the manager?

If we had lost 4 or 5 nil, I think Hartley would be taking most of the blame. Hartley cost us the game imo, but is pretty much absolved from the capitulation that followed.

Having said that, I think Hartley has flattered to deceive in a lot of games so far this season. He talks the talk though and his attitude is spot on, which is what we have been crying out for on the field for years now, but he is not the player he was when at Celtic, let alone Hearts.

Absolutely embarrassed about the 9-0. I'd like to think I'm not a reactionary football fan, but I really think McGhee has to go now. He just doesn't have enough good results in the bank to survive a 9-0 withdrawal; he could survive it if we were having a decent season so far, but apart from some glimpses of hope (ie Hartley, Folly and the strikers) we've been every bit as bad as last season. I was fully prepared to give him until the end of this season but I hadn't counted on a 9-0 reversal.

Currently working for Melbourne Victory/The A-league in Melbourne so had to take the stick from some of the very few clue'd up soccer people here... and had to sit in a room where Fox Sports News was on that had bulletins about the 9-0 result every half hour. Felt physically sick to the stomach every time it came on.

Something went wonky with my perfectly organised iTunes ( :'( ) and it made heaps of duplicates, with all the original files having that annoying exclamation mark. If I delete the "file not found" files will it also delete my artwork? I fear I'm going to have to add all the artwork again, which will be a royal pain in the arse.

When I worked in the football boots department of a sports store you'd often get people picking up 120 F50s or the like and slavering over them, before sticking them back on any old empty shelf, often marked with the price of some 13 Puma piece of shit. Agree with this. He's the only one who makes snooker worth watching these days so its good to see him having fun like the above video rather than him not turning up to tournaments or just not giving a shit.

I've got a mate who, in my opinion, has a pretty damn credible music taste and isn't at all interested in 'lad-rock', who rates the Fratellis second album ridiculously high. Think it was his 3rd favourite album of the 00s or something. I've never listened to it, I just find him raving about it amusing.

What did they say about the student thing exactly? I'm curious since the first time i had so much bother and the second time there wasn't a problem.

Sounds the same as your deal; they were happy enough to discount the price after everyone had showed student cards, if they couldn't I'd be paying for price.

As it is the 2nd time I got it for 36 no questions asked which still sounds a bit more expensive than I remember but still pretty good.

Tried to book earlier but they were playing hard ball regarding the student price. Just phoned again now, but the only times available were single hours at 7-8 or 9-10. I've gone for 7-8 so hope that is not too early for anyone!

That's a preliminary 13 just now, and I think we should go with the idea of aiming for 14. I'll book it first thing tomorrow. Is there any other people from here that have been regulars? Most of the people that have played the two times I have have already ruled themselves out I think. If there is no-one then if you could get a couple of folk Johnny that'd be superb.

*edit* Just had a scour through this thread and seen the likes of Nefarious, Scootray and Nev have neither aye'd or nae'd. Think its fair to give them first dibs so maybe hold off inviting extras until then. Obviously once its gets nearer the time then just getting the numbers takes priority.

It's just came to my attention that Friday night is a fundraiser night for Drummonds Thistle which rules out a lot of my pool of outsiders (and I believe RossP too). I'm still more than up for it though, but I'll hold off booking it right this second to see if the numbers get healthier.

Tends to be fridays which is ideal for me.
