i think it was done just after Echo Park so nothign from Comfort In Sound

Seeing as a fair few of you put down "In The Aeroplane Over The Sea" in the life changing albums thread i wondered how many people rate this band...
i think Aeroplane has to be one of the most beautiful music ever made and, for me, its one of the best albums...ever

Chronologically;
The Muppets Album (gave me a melodic sensibility and a dry sense of humour at a very young age)
The Best Of Sam Cooke (made me a soul boy at heart)
High Land Hard Rain-Aztec Camera (first indie stirrings at the age of 9)
Highway 61 Revisited-Bob Dylan (the greatest lyrics ever' date=' by anyone)
Absolutely Free-Mothers Of Invention (satire and insanely detailed musical vision)
The Who Sell Out (dynamics and perfect pop sensibility)
Best Of Woody Guthrie (like finding some forgotten Bible)
The Band-The Band (exciting music can be made while sitting down, too)
Fairport Convention-Fairport Convention (how to take massive risks within a genre)
Straight Outta Compton-NWA (anger channelled coherently, effectively and with humanity)
Electro Shock Blues-Eels (proves you can still be fun when you're down and out)
That's eleven, and I could probably add another twenty. I'll stop there, otherwise I'll be here all night.[/quote']
i really dont know how i missed out Electro Shock Blues, probably my favourite album ever. plus one that changed my life
and yes, "changed your life" is a bit drastic, but im sure everyone understands what it means
hyperbole

has died in a car accident
Morocco international Hitcham Zerouali has been tragically killed in a car accident on Sunday.
Moroccan television reported that the former Aberdeen star died after a high-speed collision in the city of Temara.
The 27-year-old moved back to his homeland last summer and was plying his trade for FAR Rabat.
Indeed, he scored two goals on Saturday in his club's victory over KAW Marrakech.
Zerouali left Aberdeen in July 2002 to sign for Saudi outfit Al Nasr.
Last summer he had a trial with League Two side Darlington but failed to earn a contract at The Reynolds Arena.
very sad news, I remember when i first started going to Pittodrie regulary was the season we signed him...probably the most talented player ive seen play for Aberdeen.
watching the goal here against hibs (http://www.scotprem.com/video/weekly/011117.asp) brought a smile.
RIP Zero

Jews have fomented terror against all nations selfishly' date=' viciously and greedily. Jews ARE terrorism incarnate. The Arabic-islamic peoples, if left alone to live their lives in peace, unmolested, would still regard America as a friendly nation. Our world would be a much safer place and many of our children would still be among the living... if not for Jews. Some of you who are members of the 'over 50' set may recall an old Bob Dylan tune named "If not for you." Just rearrange the lyrics a bit so that they read 'If not for Jew' ...and there you have it in proper context. Gullible Christian fundamentalist lackeys, whom Jews are now leading by a tether attached to their noses... are also at fault. As stipulated in Law, ignorance is no excuse.

Bob Dylan was a Jew you idiot.
