  1. Which will soon be 0 when he lumps this on an anti Ingerland bet....

I do actually think the USA will sneak a draw or win tonight

But not enough to back it up with money. I'll be out tonight for the girlfriend's birthday, so will miss the entire game anyways.

48 on Argentina to win at FT btw. Would leave me with 57 for the day (32 profit) if it comes off...

  2. i am insanely jealous, that looks delicious

Only 175 were made, but I'd imagine that they'll do a proper run of it sometime in the future.

The bottle itself is a plain white label with 'Prototype 27' hand-written on in sharpie marker

    Can't wait

  3. Morinho the new Real Manager (it's been known for yonks now, but the official confirmation is on it's way)

    Brilliant picture on bbc.co.uk/football

In other news I've been planning my summer football games

    MATCHES

    * Sat 17th July: [friendly] Forres -V- ICT

    * Wed 21st July: [friendly] Elgin -V- ICT (U19/Youth)

    * Sat 31st July: ICT -V- Queens Park - CIS League Cup Rd 1

    * Saturday 7th August - [friendly] ICT -V- a European team (no name released yet)

    * Wed 11th August Sweden v. Scotland in Stockholm.

  4. Who's the maths teacher here again? ;)

Not me! I'm full-time Support For Learning now (ironically starting the job days after ICT leave the SFL)

Bah, I'm still not sure. I'll wait till tomorrow to see.

Would rather like an away match to Arbroath, so the ICT fans can welcome club legend Paul Sheerin into his new job.

  5. Interesting matches for Elgin and Montrose.

Might pretend to be an Elgin City fan that weekend ;)

After reading 3 different stories on who goes into tomorrow's League Cup draw... I still don't know if we are in it!! Some say all 30 SFL clubs in the 2009/2010 season go into the first round, others say that we get a bye into the 2nd round bevause we finished top of the 1st Division/are into the SPL now.

  6. Japandroids ~ Art Tzars

    Hammock ~ Chasing after shadows...

    The National ~ High Violet

Unwed Sailer ~ The Marionette and the Musicbox

Los Campesinos! ~ Romance is boring

Juno ~ This is the way it goes and goes and goes

The Unwinding Hours ~ Tour CD

65daysofstatic ~ We were exploding anyway

and my girlfriend nabbed me the Ironman 2 AC/DC soundtrack from her work :)

  7. No word on any of our preseason games yet, but from paper talk it's been suggested we'll be doing an English tour and then some Highland League teams (which is fine for me, as I can get along during the school hols)

Delighted that Foran, Hayes and Cox have signed up for another 2 years. They really are too good to play for us; so having them for tied down is fantastic news. Just waiting to hear back from Esson and Tokely to see if they sign their contracts (Rossco has an offer from Turkey and Esson isn't happy with the terms of his contract.

Looking forward to any signing news. We desperately need another defender or two.

  8. Hello abody!

I'm currently working on my graded unit which involves combining all elements of the course into a big business plan.

My idea was originally to set up a mobile studio in the back of my dads caravan and call it "The Band Wagon", recording sessions with touring bands enroute to gigs or at their hotel and then making these sessions available as a monthly downloadable podcast with the possibilty of the sessions being filmed in a la blogoteque stylee.

    What I was wondering was-

Do you think there would be any scope for this in Aberdeen and would anyone be willing to subscribe to the podcasts for a monthly fee? If so, how much would you be willing to pay?

Any feedback would be appreciated muchly.

    Thanks  xx

It's an interesting idea, which could work if marketed well.

    What my concerns would be:

    1. Local radio stations already do these recordings with local and national acts. With the likes of Northsound/Original 106 having their own recording facilities for live studio recordings, I don't think they'd be too keen on paying out extra money for something they already have in-house.

    2. Parking/Power restrictions near venues like the Music Hall, Drummonds, AECC might cause problems.

    On a more positive note:

I think there's a good opportunity for working with schools, especially rural ones. Many schools have no access to decent recording facilities and would welcome the chance to record on their own premises. This also goes for Youth Clubs etc. I'd suggest you consider this your target market.

These are just a few things that have came to mind in the last 10mins or so, I might add some extra bits and bobs as they come to mind...

Give us a heads up if you need any info for creating Business Plans/Grant schemes etc as I've had a good 5 years of teaching kids about them!

    All the best

  9. Me too, unless England happen to be the underdog!

I'm hoping Ross County win tomorrow for the same reason.

(Also interested to see the United fans reaction to Craig Brewster after their 'falling-out' with him when he was their manager....made the dons fans seem gentle and forgiving in comparison).

Nice to see Brewster is taking credit for Dundee United's success:

Craig Brewster: I laid foundations for Dundee Utd's current success - The Daily Record

    What a prick.

  10. The Scum got relegated! Maybe Tango hasn't forgotten his roots after all...

Can't decide if I'd rather see Brechin or Cowden in the Firstie. Brechin'd be a piss-easy away day, but Cowden would bring another Fife derby.

The Scum got relegated. The raging, web-toed, six-fingered hoorbags got relegated.

A fine end to the season.

    :up::laughing::finger: etc...

  11. Also do you know the guy sitting next to you, he looks like a Mafia Godfather.

That'll be my Aberdeen supporting father... The Don in our family, if you will

Aberdeen and Kilmarnock are absolutely stinking btw
