    12 channel in/out soundcard with 2 balanced TRS inputs, SPDIF inputs and ADAT in/out (8 channel I/O) For good ADAT converters, I am also selling 2 ADAT machines so you could pick one up to use as an outboard converter.

    24 bit/192khz , same AD converters as found in pro tools rigs. Great sound card with DSP effects built in. Works great with cubase etc...

    Looking to part with my amp as I just don't use this anymore and need the cash. Reluctant sale but needs must. I don't really know the going value for these, but I was 1200 for this from R&B in 2002. I would be very happy with 700 for both, but am probably open to offers. I will post pics later but it is in generally very good condition, one little tear on the front of the cab which was glued back, but apart from that, built like a shithouse, sounds amazing, loud enough to shatter your house to pieces (tried and tested).

    Note I currently have two output valves pulled from (to drop it to 50w) so you would need new valves if you want to get the full 100w.

    Looking for a quick sale....anyone interested?

    hmv is a good pick from a shit bunch to be fair. and the prices are pretty reasonable...

    16 a CD reasonable?

    It sucks because they get a lot of good imports in (well they say its imported...) and this seems a good reason for them to whack an "EXCLUSIVE IMPORT 20" sticker on it...then you stroll down to One Up and find the same CD for like 7.99....:down:

    Maybe I'm alone in that the first gig I was at was one my own bands gigs... East Neuk 93....

    First band I went along to see was The Kinks at the Capitol, either 93 or 94. Wasn't too exciting sat in the balcony.

    Last band I saw was Wire at The Arches last year. I now don't care if I don't see another band again....

    I would love that bassman head, but I don't really play guitar anymore so it would just be an ornament (but a fucking great ornament!)

    The Bassman is originally a bass amp (in its original 1950's tweed combo variety), but guitarists really fell for the sound...so much so that the classic Marshall amp (1987) was basically just a clone of the bassman (with one or two tweaks). Great sounding amp though.....had the delight of cranking one at a gig many years ago and the sound was just massive

    I was listening to some One Way System and Chaos UK earlier on...thats deff 2 fingers in the air fuck you all punk rock......

    Amplitube is a simulator, whereas a plugin like Revalver uses impulse responses of cabs. Peavey have now bought up this product. I like the sound of this better than my POD because it can really get a gritty sound, the sound of the mic just slightly off phase with the cab, its also good at simulating output distortion...something that people who use amp soaks will never understand...

    TRASH is another great cab simulator, I run my POD into this bypassing the speaker models on the POD and it just sounds great....

    A great little plug in if you are recording guitars in the box is Acoustic Feedback by SofTube. It works best if you automate it so it kicks in at the right moment so its worth laying down a scratch track first so you know when to kick it in, then any notes you want to leave ringing will work in a sweet way like a cranked valve amp...

    Didn't make it down, was recovering from Monday night. Won 550 on Monday night though. Definitely coming this Tuesday. How'd you get on Keilan?

    Were you playing the 20 rebuy on Monday? I hear mad Derek made about 14 rebuys...550 is a tidy sum, wp..... I haven't done too well lately....fancy play syndrome I am told...probably wont be back for a month or so, hooked on 25PLO at hills just now though to build back up....

    Heres a good one I had going on will hill...5 to 50 eventually (took a while) few numbers that can hurt you but the idea is that most bets are at least earning you about 10p if not more. Couple lose you 20p but you can take it. Some numbers won't win at all, but if you get 3 losers in a row, get the hell out of dodge...best bet is to quickly hit rebet and spin, if you leave it a while you can almost predict the number just by looking for an uncovered bet.

    Seen you "grinding" the black jack table edgar, how much did you lose? :D

    hows this for bad luck in roulette (don't play this game) it seemed to be going 13/red number/13/red number/13/red number... I was just about to put 10 on 13 but I thought the law of my luck would say it would be a red number....of course it came 13 black for the 4th time....RIGGED!
