  1. Oh' date=' and for landing a smack on the wanker who spilled your beer without getting thrown out of the club...[/quote']

Well, the little wanker who was "trying to swim" with a pint in his hand spilling his drink on you. So I've heard. It certainly didn't happen to me on the 7th January this year.

  2. your wrong sir i see him in moshulu every week mostly on fridays.... always causing trouble.

I think causing trouble would be screaming at bar-staff or picking fights with bouncers. I know a lot of people don't see the point in a mosh-pit. Fine. I don't see the point in flailing around like an amputee trying to swim. I really wouldn't class his behaviour as "causing trouble". He is actually a really nice guy, and handy to have around during a confrontation with a ned.

  3. I didn't really care for Allergo, and I really didn't like My Minds Weapon at all. Cult of Luna were ace, although they are a bit to chilled out for a live setting when I wanted to be a bit more "hyper".

Bleeding Through were amazing, they played the song I was most desperate to hear first (Love Lost in a Hail of Gun Fire) and they kept the crowd going. I was disappointed that the pits were so pathetic. The "children-who-dance-like-they-are-swimming" were getting on my tits, provoking a pit and then running away when it actually happened (you know who you are  )

Had an ace night, here's to more gigs along the same lines, but with different support.

  6. If you take troops who aren't properly trained for guard duty' date=' put them in a situation where the lives of them and their comrades are at risk 24/7 from an enemy that seems to come from nowhere, and then put them in charge of "enemy" prisoners with orders to break them down, [b']of course things like this are going to happen. It's the darker side of human nature, and the darker side of military obedience.

"But we were only following orders"

    My sentiments exactly.

"I dont accept that at all.....enemy or not these people are human beings and deserve to be treated as such!"

Walk through any area that has people in "alien" situations, like being intoxicated or stuck in a war-zone, and you will notice they treat each other like shit. Take people out of their "normal" environment and they feel threatened. That is human nature, sadly.....

  7. Well' date=' I for one watched it and enjoyed it. It did not shake my views in any real way, admittedly it opened my eyes to how dumb the American People are.

Power of Nightmares was a far better expose of the lies and maltruth that has been peddled by governments at home and abroad. I hear it may be coming out on DVD sometime, a must have purchase.

I agree that plenty of editing was done, Moore is no Democrat, he saves plenty of venom for them if anyone reads his books, but I agree that the film was slightly let down by the 'crusade against Bush' feel that ran through it.

I watched this as a film, not as someone who was prepared to be influenced by it, I have my own opinions on the US political system, Bush and the war in Iraq, but it always amazes me how people seem to discredit everything about a movie or a book based purely on who it was by.[/quote']

For once we might actually agree on something.............
