  1. cheaper than the option of a taxi home

    its at the barras.

if i go im getting a taxi now. 45-50 for 3 of us

but ive woken up even more ill and my throat has almost completely closed up and i dont know what to do cause i went to the doctor yesterday and he said "oh its nothing you'll be fine in a few days"

  2. i know a few people in glasgow. but i dont like impossing on people. unless they are going to the gig already.

ill just need to call around tomorrow morning

this is if i dont wake up even more ill than today. my throat has closed up almost from my glands swelling but the doctor says "oh its nothing, you'll get over it in a couple of days"

  3. hmm. i happen to be off work that weekend and was planning on coming to aberdeen to see my folks.

you seem to keep planning it the weekend i have off and i seem to keep on going even though i know none of the bands these days.

  4. incase anyone is planning on going to glasgow by train tomorrow, there are no tranis running

and now im stuck cause im meant to be going to a gig in glasgow and train is the noly way to get home after it. or a 60 taxi. but they are stopping after 6pm =[

anyone know of a cheap place to stay in glasgow last minute?

  5. i wouldnt go by having the MMR jab as being safe.

when did you have the Jab and how many times?

I had it as a kid, but they only gave us one dose, then in 94 they gave everyone a second dose of MR but not mumps thinking you didnt need it.

Thats why everyone our age is getting mumps now.

You may have recieved a letter asking you to go get another dose in the last few years. If you did then you'll be fine....

Or if you are about 18 or younger then you probably got 2 doses as a baby so yes you'll be fine.

  6. i meant the fact that they are saying top gear are going to show this stunt and how wrong it is because someone was in a crash with a level crossing but was fine....

when they cuold have a much stronger case if they told people someone died in a crash on friday at a level crossing.

  7. BBC NEWS | UK | Top Gear to screen train stunt

Ok so do the BBC just pick and choose what they want to report on?

"In 2004, seven people died when a high-speed London to Plymouth train hit a car parked on a level crossing at Ufton Nervet in Berkshire.

And on Sunday, a train and a car collided at a level crossing near Whitland in Carmarthenshire.

No-one was hurt and accident investigators are trying to establish what happened. "

What about the fact that there was a crash at a level crossing on Friday morning at 12.45am near irvine where a train hit a van and killed someone.....

I was on the train from glasgow to ayr at the time and we had left irvine and only got half way to the enxt stop when an empty train right infront of us crashed at the level crossing.

we had to stop and go back to irvine and get a taxi home to ayr.
