It's hardly worth getting uptight over the latest "Top 10 Greatest/worst/whatever CDs of all Time" as there's going to be a new list the following week that disputes it anyway. Personally, I find it funny when someone upsets the rock puritans & disses their accepted "Holy Grail" of Pet Sounds / Revolver / Astral Weeks, etc. The fall out is usually quite funny as they explode in apoplectic fury at the question of their idol's work & legacy. There's been a few posts by people in the thread that have fell into the trap, basically (the same one that the P&J's editorial fell into with their questioning of Belle & Sebastian winning The List's "Best Scottish Acts Ever" vote) - I'd just say lighten up & appreciate that it's all purely subjective, as Dave has pointed out, and ultimately an arbitrary choice by a limited range of punters, in most cases.
