Flash@TMB
Who wrote and originally recored the track "Without You" as in "Can't live, if living is without you"?First person to approach me tonight with the correct answer wins a free drink. I'll be wearing either the Jagermeister or Jack Daniels bandana and pissed as a newt.

Flash@TMB
Ross...The idea is not to post the answer here but that the first person to come up to me in person and say ********* tonight - I'll buy them a drink.Leslie Nielsen???Tell you what though - I'll give you a hint, there is a strong link to suicide. Ross
Apoloies it has been a long day and night...Still not been to bed yet. Got work tonight.Last night ended up drinking 6 litres of coffee and made a curry..Booked another band for a gigAlso just played a round of golf.....Still awake... This isn`t good.....Wasn`t it Harry Neilson..Whitney definately covered it in the 80s
Flash@TMB
nopeTwas the nightmare that is Mariah Carey not Whitney.Neilsen was also a cover.Heart did one of the better covers.Even our own Snakebite covered it for their tape. But fa wrote it and recorded the original.Another hint - the musical style of the original is very different to Nielsen. Ross
Whitney recorded it also...As did Badfinger (apparently)it was written by Pete Ham & Tom EvansBUT first recorded by Harry Nilsen.According to the powers of the net.
Flash@TMB
You are:A) Not taking part in the spirit of the quiz - so switch to PM.B) Getting very warm. But no it was recorded prior to Nielsen.
Ross
Well Pete Ham & Tom Evans were Welsh....Thus my only guess is either Tom Jones or Shirley Bassie
