meiklejohn
I have a Gibson les Paul classic and was wondering if its possible and how much hassle it is to get push pull coil splitters?
Runcie
It's no harder than fitting normal 2 wire pickups provided your happy enough with reading a wiring diagram and can solder happily enough. You just have to get the right pots (and have 4 conductor pickups fitted). Here's a couple of links that should help you out. http://www.seymourduncan.com/images/schematics/501005-110.pdf http://www.dimarzio.com/sites/default/files/diagrams/4Conductor.pdf
meiklejohn
Would I need new pickups?
Bigsby
Probably, stock Gibsons prob aren't 4 wire.Easiest solution I can recommend is Seymour Duncan Triple Shot mounting rings, no push pull required.
