Broken Records are a 6-piece band from Edinburgh. Formed in early 2007 they have released a series of limited edition singles and EPs as well as two acclaimed albums, Until The Begins To Part (2009) and Let Me Come Home (2010) on 4AD. They have toured extensively in the UK and Europe, including a European support tour with Brooklyn based band The National, and in February 2011 they played their debut US headline tour. Broken Records are also festival regulars having appeared at Glastonbury, Latitude, T in the Park, Reading & Leeds, Haldern and Rockness amongst others, and their recent single A Darkness Rises Up was featured in the BBC6 Music Top 40 Songs of 2010,

Of all the bands weve had there have been fewer more impressive live than Broken Records so were delighted to have got them back for the last clubnight! We last had them a fair bit before things kicked off for them and they were amazing live. Since then theyve played with The National, Beirut, Sons and Daughters and released two cracking albums!

This will be a special night so we are opening early at 8pm with the bands on till 11pm followed by the DHC DJs playing till 2am - id suggest booking the 26th off now!

Id like to say a massive cheers to all the bands who have played and anyone who has supported the night over the last 5.5 years and hope to see a lot of familiar faces there on the 25th to send things off properly! DHC will be back sporadically with special one off events at weekends so were not completely going away but this is the end of the weeklies!
