New date!! **November tickets still valid** Best known as the lead singer and guitarist of Platinum awarded band Bloc Party, Kele Okereke is a Mercury Music Prize nominee, NME Album of the Year winning musician. Having recently contributed to the Berlin-based record label !K7 series with a DJ mix featuring a broad range of artists including Cajmere, Wiley, French Fries, Larry Heard, Bloc Party themselves and even Carl Craig, Kele has now exploded into the world of dance music. When Okereke released his first solo album, The Boxer, produced by XXXChange, it caught the attention of clubbers around the world. With hit single "Tenderoni" followed by an EP titled "The Hunter" and remix by DJ Mujava, along with Sub Focus' single "Turn It Around" from his second studio album Torus, Kele quickly clocked up an impressive CV on his own. Now an EP on Damian Lazarus' Crosstown Rebels is forthcoming, this alongside past studio work with Chemical Brothers and Herclues & The Love Affair, shows Kele has thrown himself into DJing, embracing dance music whole-heartedly.
