Diesel
How much you looking for and what do you think the fault is with the motherboard?Hmm - not sure on price - offers?I suspect a dodgy connector on the motherboard. The thing ran pretty much uninterrupted for the last couple of years, but I noticed recently that it had rebooted itself during the night and had put that down to automatic Windows upgrades. Then it would just cut out as soon as it was switched on - no bleeps or anything.I know that the HDD's are ok, coz I put then in the new one and they're fine, as are the Radeon graphics card and Hiper PSU (both also plundered for the new PC). Unlikely to be the processor, so in my experience (I'm an IT veteran, albeit in software) it's classic motherboard deterioration. It's older PCI/IDE board so it won't be expensive to replace - I'll get a price.
