Chris
I dinna suppose any of you caught Bob Knight playing?Wandered down to the Plainstones concert briefly on Saturday afternoon and heard them say that he turned up asking to play but they'd already filled the schedule. That was as close as we got I think.

Chris
He played on The Sunday night at some bar or other. Ach weel, nevermind. The main gig finished just after 11 on Sunday night and I had to give Dave a lift home to Culter before heading back to Aberdeen for work today, so we didn't stick around. I imagine it was one of the harbour bars, most of the session action was happening down there. Though some stuff was also going on at The Heugh up the road. We ignored that place after they wanted to charge us a fiver to sit in the bar and listen to the blues gig get piped through on Friday night. Scorge
Friday night at the Marine was splendid. Was only in the Queens and the Hook (liking the refurb!) on the Sunday very briefly before going to the Royal (big mistake), but enjoyed the atmosphere a lot.
