scottST
does anyone know where i could find a hardware autotune unit for vocals? not a software autotune, but a hardware unit (like the ATR1 or the TC helicon stuff, but not as ridiculously expensive)at a decent-ish price?(or if anyone has one they'd wanna offload, let me know!)before it's said, my singer can perfectly sing, just looking to achieve an effect live. HairyScaryMark
Cheaper units tend to be terrible at pitch effects from my experience.Digitech Vocalist perhaps? When you mentioned you were using auto tune as an effect before I suggesting trying a vocoder. I believe you already have one in a microkorg. I use the software one from native instruments which is rather fun although am yet to be able to place it in any song. scottST
yeah i have tried the microkorg - doesnt give the right effect even with no end of buggering about with it; also we'd need an additional synth player to play along with it surely, which we don't have.i have located some rack units though, trying to find a decent price....
