TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Email away! I went for a AKG perception 200. Mind, it needs a phantom power supply as well, but I would say it is well worth the money. I'm super chuffed with it, I've tried acoustic guitar, violin and vocals on it and they've all come out great.

TR!ΔNGL€ T€€TH
Aye, you generally need a power supply for condenser mics, though you can get them quite cheaply: ART Phantom III Phantom Power Supply8 (PHANTOMIII)I got my mic from here: AKG Perception 200 Large-Diaphragm Condenser Mic | Dolphin Music
Stripey
You might be alright with something like this http://www.dv247.com/invt/29724/ which you can just plug straight into a USB port and is less than 50 quid.
